The Art of Snore.
27 August 2000
A famous General once described war (to paraphrase) as long periods of boredom punctuated by brief moments of excitement. Pretty much sums up this one. An overly long, tedious film insufficiently relieved by moments of action I've been a fan of Wesley Snipes' for eons and I wound up feeling a little sorry for him on this one. Save your $$$$.

My God, this movie sucked!
31 March 2000
How bad did it suck? It was all I could do to keep myself from ripping out my eyeballs and throwing them at my TV/VCR. This pathetically directed, miserably acted, and horribly written piece of tripe was actually recommended to me by a stranger at a video store as a "terrific action flick". I'll get even if it takes forever.

Please make the pain go away!
31 March 2000
Why isn't there a Zero on this voting thing? I have seen the ninth circle of hell and its name is Manos, Hands of Fate. Like many, I was introduced to this stinker by Mystery Science Theatre. Until that fateful viewing, I thought that MST3K could make any film enjoyable. By the time the movie (if you want to call it that) had run 5 minutes I knew that getting through this film would be the mental/ spiritual equivalent of draining the Gulf of Mexico with a bent straw. Don't get me wrong, I think that everyone should see this one, if only for the Bragging rights. "Forget Anzio, Never mind Iwo Jima. I've sit through Manos, Hands of fate"!!
