It might have started ok... horribles bosses...

and the thing is, the 3 guys wanted to kill their bosses...

is this the American culture?

And then, it is like they do this and that, and got lucky because one boss killed another boss. (again, this is America?)

And then, it seemed like the 3 guys may get killed by that boss but Redemption (AGAIN!), because some recording was able to show that boss killed the other boss...

and then they also framed the third boss... which is Jennifer Aniston who was crazy about a short guy...

The movie is a mess and have very low moral and is just coarse...

Maybe it says how the world was like... and I am surprised so many people liked it, saying it is a movie "that made me laugh".

I liked The Truman Show a lot.

This one, no.

The Cookie store lady "tried to make it a better world by making cookies and pasties". It is one of the worst foods on Earth. It makes people really unhealthy.

And the guy's ultimate goal seems to be mating with the cookie woman. The "ultimate glory" and "victory", in the movie writer's mind, I suppose.

And by what, by using a "guitar". I suppose the writer's mind must be that guitars are so holy and sacred. Playing it is "worth mating" is what is on his mind.

And for some reason, the cookie girl, always show herself with her chest really prominent, and she sounded arrogant and self-righteous too. Just because you are able to show it, doesn't mean you can then be arrogant or self-righteous. It is one of the most repulsive things I see.

And it is like following a formula: this tax person, counting everything, knows numbers well, blah blah blah, but he cannot appreciate a cookie and guitar, and later on he could, so now he is worthy of mating with this cookie girl.

And then Emma Thompson, she appeared genuine in her previous movies, but I noticed she always have this thing about trying to act like she is genuine. I don't know how to describe it. Tom Hanks, is genuine. Emma Thompson, is acting to look like it.

And then, they also make it a formula like saving a kid who random go into the middle of the road is such a "hero". Why should that guy try to replace the kid's injury with his own? The kid randomly goes into the middle of a 3 lane street. You should go to the middle of the road so that you die and he doesn't?

Also, near the end of the movie, they make it look like everybody is so warm. The movie was released in Nov 2006. In 2008, the subprime loan thing happened, Leman Brothers thing happened. These are con, con, and con things. People pretend to be IRS or DHL or the Electric company to con people of money nowadays. The hospital rob people by charge an average of US$2600 to $3700 per night stay. These are conning and robbing people out there and the movie made it look like "oh so warm".

I only watch this movie because there is a theory that says from Big Bang, all energy movements are known. All matters formation known. So it is like a story already written, and we think we have free will, but we are just living this story book. There is some similarity to this movie. But this movie turned out to be close to trash.

The novel, and the movie, both seem to create the story for the sake of creating the story, or for the sake of making profits out of making a movie.

The story is just so much like a formula. Try to put more heart and soul to your work.

And the female actress was just complaining all the time, and then cry and feel dissatisfied. The male actor must have been told to exaggerate how he would oppose to other people...

And I felt really annoyed by the way the female actress say thing, "I don't like it LOR!" "I don't understand this LOR." "This LOR" and "That LOR". As Dayo Wong said, the person taking the destiny in their hand do not say, "This LOR" and "That LOR" the whole day.

This movie is just to feed your ego. It shows some kind of homeless man, wild, and crazy, and assertively says "I am no king", and of course, there is a woman who betray his to-be husband and go for this homeless man, and say, "you should be king", "and a hero". How great is that. To make anybody feel like he can be like a king, a hero, and somebody who would steal another woman from another guy, doesn't that make you feel good? And of course, blah blah blah, he is just so good. The important people such as the wife-to-be and the counselor betray their king to help this guy. And of course, the younger brother who is opposing him, is made to look like evil. There is also a bad guy, who, after killing random people, actually said that Aquaman should have mercy and save his father when his father was trapped by a fallen object... that was really fair... and Aquaman actually kind of thought maybe he should have saved his father too... When Aquaman and the betraying woman both fall and can get killed by the thousands of sea creatures, for some reason they have the flame light to keep these creatures away... so it was just a coincidence that they were able to see those flaming light device... so what if they didn't see it, then they are dead? In Silicon Valley, I see these wild crazy guys who thought they are like a hero all the time, when they don't even test their software code and push to the web server and crash everything, and then they backstab other coworkers... it is guys like him that are made to look like a hero and a king, and somebody who could steel woman from another man... what kind of movie is this? It merely is trying to feed the ego of people and make big money.

I remember one line in the movie: the girl said, "I want to grow up, and be a useful person (in the society / the world)." I have been in US for close to 30 years, and I found that most of my actions, decisions, were geared towards money. And I felt some kind of loneliness and helplessness, as if there is no use or no meaning in life, and I actually stopped moving forward. The lady in the film did this to help the kids and hope that the school doesn't get closed down, and she also said to a guy who planned to "monetize" the kindergarten after-school education market, "are you doing finance, or are you doing the work of an educator?" So I got to rethink my life, and what I will do. This is a well made movie and made me rethink about life.

It is a story about: a girl likes a pastor, and then when finally one day they both drank some red wine and drove up to see the night view and french kissed, afterwards the girl sued him for harassment, and the pastor had to pay a small to medium fine, but could not be a pastor ever again but went into the business world and would have 30 nightclub women in a month.

Now the spoiler part: it turned out, the pastor and the girl were both drunk, but the girl really do like the pastor. After they french kissed, the girl asked the pastor "do you love me?" The pastor was actually, possibly due to being drunk, saying "you must be the temptation sent from the evil. You must be stopping me to go to Britain... to be a holy person for God, and you must be as low as a hooker to tempt me", etc, etc. It was possible that he said those things because he was drunk.

But the girl was so hurt, so the next day she filed for harassment and have the pastor sued. So the really thing is that, she felt hurt because the pastor said really bad things (while he was drunk). But then she didn't sue him for saying bad things, because saying bad things is not illegal. Instead, she had him sued for sexually harassment (for a french kiss).

To me, the pastor might have been wrong, but the girl is even more wrong -- by a far degree. Because she is using the law to persecute somebody, and she thought she was still being holy to do that... oh well, to me it felt like how a girl might revenge -- by any means by any unjust method.
