One of the most pointless and boring shows ever produced
11 July 2017
I tried. I really did give it a fair chance, but this is one of the most pointless and boring shows ever produced. Disclaimer: I'm a heterosexual male so I'm not her target market but I still recognized the good writing and likable characters on Sex and the City. Lena Dunham is a talent-less hack who has no business having her own show ... or showing off her naked body.

Huh?
25 August 2002
I just finished watching Super Troopers, and now I am reading all of your reviews in amazement. Super Troopers was the funniest movie since Caddyshack?? The best "film" of 2001?? Broken Lizard is right up there with Monty Python?? WHAT????? Has everyone gone mad?

No, seriously. Did I miss something? It is a sheer mystery to me how this movie ever got made. If you consider this movie funny, I'm curious as to what you find unfunny.

The Party (1968)
Addictive.
3 March 2001
Why do I never get sick of watching this movie?? I don't really know. I seem to watch it at least once a month. My friends say, "Come on Baddmachine, it's funny but it's not THAT funny." Yeah, well F*** off!

Let's see...What do I like about The Party:

1. Best Peter Sellers Performance by far. A showcase for his knack for physical comedy and accents.

2. It's easy on the head. Very chill. Light on the action, light on the climax, light on the symbolism. Heavy on the vivid colors and lounge music. Great "background" movie.

3. Birdie Num-Num

4. The Party plays itself out in real-time. It makes you feel like you've been there the whole time.

5. Claudine Longet is SOOOO hot! Who cares if she murdered her skiing instructor's ex-wife.

6. "Does that include television, sir?"

7. The party depicted is a perfect portrayal of a real Hollywood party...sleazebag producers reciting rusty and cheesy one-liners, strawberry soup, a stupid yappy poodle locked in a bedroom upstairs, not enough chairs at the dinner table, etc.

8. Hilarious slapstick from the entire cast.

9. "I am NOT your shuga!"

10. The Indian geek who was invited by accident left the party with the hottest chick!

"Worst" is a Strong Word!
27 June 2000
I question the credibility of any imdb user who calls Problem Child 2 "the worst movie ever made." Have these people ever seen The Jazz Singer with Neil Diamond? Armageddon? Movies which are actually meant to be taken seriously! Very often, it seems one will deem a movie "the worst ever made" when expectations are shattered. But come on! The title says it all- Problem Child 2!! What exactly DID you expect? I have a difficult time believing that Brian Levant was expecting any type of critical acclaim, or to be taken seriously. RELAX! Deep down, we all understand that juvenile delinquency is not humorous.

Well...I shouldn't say "all." Bad kids crack me up!! I loved Problem Child 2, and recommend it to anyone watches movies to be ENTERTAINED, not just to nitpick. To involve kids with cruel pranks, toilet humor, and Jack Warden was GENIUS! Junior Healy makes Dennis the Menace look like an Olsen twin. I wouldn't want to mess with him.

The Worst Movie Ever Made
16 June 2000
Do you ever wonder what is the worst movie ever made? Stop wondering. I'm telling you, Michael is it!

It is not "heartwarming," "entertaining," or "Travolta at his best." It just sucks. If I had kids, I would let them watch Deep Throat before Michael!

A sold-out John Travolta, a washed-up and balding William Hurt, and an about to die any time now Jean Stapleton highlight this turd of a film.

But wait...you'll get to hear Andie McDowell sing! Yeah. Hollywood really s**t all over us with this one!

Night Patrol (1984)

Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!
8 June 2000
"Ridiculous" is a word I use very often. It can mean very good or very bad. In Night Patrol's case, it means both. Night Patrol is RIDICULOUS!! If you are wondering exactly how ridiculous it is, just look at the cast listing- Pat Morita as the rape victim(!) If you are a fan of trashy,low-budget, absolute dreck, this film is a must-see! 10stars/10stars!!

Interesting facts about Night Patrol:

1. Murray Langston's Unknown Comic act IS A REAL ACT in Las Vegas!!

2. On the Linda Blair episode of E!'s True Hollywood Stories, the narrator says, "...And then, in 1984, Linda Blair hit her career all-time-low." They show a scene from Night Patrol!!

3. Sydney Lassick- Cheswick from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, makes a cameo appearance as a peeping Tom!

4. Bill Kirchenbauer- Coach from Just the Ten of Us, makes a cameo appearance as the "fed up Japanese guy."

5. Pat Paulsen (Kent Lane) ran for President of the U.S.!!

Not your typical martial arts movie
31 May 2000
Riki-Oh is the best movie I have seen in the past year! In the style of Toxic Avenger, Riki is filled with gore, slapstick, quotable lines, comic book violence, and striking personalities. Every fight sequence is incredibly graphic and over-the-top. However, if you are expecting top notch martial arts, Riki may not be for you. This is a PARTY movie! Watch it on a big screen with your homeboys, and be prepared to laugh your a** off! Warning: not for the faint of heart.

The thinking man's trash film!
31 May 2000
This movie IS trash, but it is not meaningless. It's actually deeper than you'd expect. Pondo Sinatra is a 24-year-old redneck virgin who leaves his isolated farm to attend college. He wants nothing more than to lose his virginity, but HAS NO GAME at all. He tries EVERYTHING, but to no avail....And then finally- he says the magic words that will forever change his life!! Throughout The Party Animal, Pondo RIDICULOUSLY analyzes why he gets none. These analyses get pretty deep, and are often hilarious. Many men out there(not necessarily me) could definitely relate to Pondo. A funny college flick!
