I gave the movie a 4 which was probably about 2 more points than it deserved. Maybe it's me but I found it to be very disappointing. Possibly it was the limited amount of time but I didn't see it creating much havoc which would have made it much funnier than just "doing and then undoing a deed". I was looking for hilarity with messed up witchcraft which is what the show gave us but this was a very sad, pale comparison. IF by any chance there is going to be a follow up, I sure hope they can do better. I found going around our mall and voting on the costumed brooms more entertaining (and believe me, that's a stretch....only a couple of them were worth the laugh!) You guys dropped the ball with this one!

Although I kind of figured who was what about a quarter of the way into the movie, it was still enjoyable. I am a King, Depp, and Dutton fan, and I enjoyed Depp's cutting wit as did most of the rest of the theatre.

Twists and turns help keep you on the edge. This is the first movie in ages I've paid full price to see (usually go to matinees) and I don't feel like I've wasted my money. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD!

I agree with 'what happened'??? This was a really good show but apparently didn't pick up the viewers. That was their loss and ultimately the fans it did garner. The show was a mixture of drama and comedy from my recollection. I just remember it was GREAT!!!

...who have had ENOUGH of turning the other cheek! I'm sure there are many abuse survivors out there who could identify with what she went through and wished they'd had the strength to follow in her footsteps. Kudos to someone's imagination of "what if I could fight back?"!

Kudos to Robin Williams for great acting as usual. He has again shown his versatility. The movie on the other hand...sigh.. Very slow moving, not my usual type of fare. Started getting disgusted with the thought of Sy (of course, I guess that was their intention). Several 'unexpecteds' occurred which did enhance the movie but, not until the end. I saw it on STARZ...supposedly on from 11pm to 12:45am. Come about 12:30am, I was anxious to know what could happen in the last 15 minutes. I was robbed! Right about 12:30am the credits started rolling so....if you're seeing it on TV, it's only 1.5 hours long, not 1.75. I suggest watching but, you may want to have friends over to play a game during the first hour....of course keeping one eye on the movie.

I just feel that they put all the action in the previews to try to hook us into seeing the movie. I think I would have enjoyed the movie much more if I hadn't been led to believe that it was so action packed. It had a rather good story and this should have been hyped on the previews and let the action be second to the story. All I can say is, I'm glad I have a job that pays my way to go to movies sometimes because I'd have been rather upset had I forked over full price. Maybe not so much had I gone to a matinee. I will probably buy it (mostly for the scenery) but only after I can get it for half price. Bottom line watch if for the story, not for the action.

...man's inhumanity to man... My daughter said she didn't like this movie because it is too much like life. There is no 'escapism' in this movie. A previous comment about sums it up...Emotionally Devastating.

Movie for kids actually, it wasn't bad with an afternoon to waste. Nice family values and interaction. Sorry guy but, I think the role of Aurthur should have been given to someone else. This guy is too complacent. Sometimes he even seems to want to be anywhere else but where he is. The final action scene was too much! (actually too little) seemed forced and very "acted".

Yes, unfortunately I must agree with "Antagonized by too many commercials". This is not a good thing and is going to turn people away from some excellent programming on USA. This show is worth watching and while Mr. Monk's OCD is annoying, that's a fact of life. If you know someone with OCD I'm sure they can annoy the **** out of you but, we need to see what is going on, annoying or not. Just imagine how the poor person with OCD feels! I'm sure the program is not going to dwell on it, but it needs to continue to make sure the elements remain believable. Yes, if you must..record and then watch it ffw through commercials, otherwise you are going to miss a great program!

Bless you who(M?)ever had the idea for this program and an extra special thanks to Stephen King for writing the original book and giving them the idea....what took them so long!? I sure hope this program is going to stick around for awhile and I am sick thinking about the fact that it's first season will be over so soon! This is terrible....what are we supposed to do with ourselves now? (smile) I will be waiting for that email coming to tell me when the new season will be starting and if anyone from USA is reading these, can't you do something about all those commercials? They make it a bit hard to concentrate on the program....of course, I'd **** at my own beer party. Seems I should just be grateful the program is on at all! Oh by the way, I do realize there are unrequited feelings between Johnny and Sarah, especially with the child but....that's getting a bit old. She seems like a lost puppy following him around everywhere.

Good story. Starts out strong but weakens along the way.

Once you find out who is setting the fires, there's not much more to keep your interest. Of course it goes back and forth as to who is really the guilty party but..it gets kind of dull.

From other comments, I am getting the idea it was supposed to be a spoof/comical. Seriously? Well, it certainly was comical but it didn't have me laughing....and they're making a followup!?

Here it is, nearing mid 2002 and no QL movie in sight! Will TPTB please do something! This show is so obviously loved by so many. I would like to see a movie before any of the principal players or myself dies please! If there is a site that has a petition or somewhere I can put in my 2 cents, please post here!

I don't need that many words to say this movie sucked big time. I have to say this rates right up there as one of the top ten worst movies of all time! I can't believe Alan Smithee wasn't listed as the director, I wouldn't wish my name to be associated with it! Ugh!!!!!

OMYGAW!!!! Don't you have anything higher than a 10???? Probably my all time favorite! It was easy to love the bad guy too. Yea Roadrunner!
