Michael Jackson: Bad (1987)
One of his better MUSIC VIDEOS!
This music video is honestly one of the best of Michael Jackson. He portrays a high school kid coming home from a high class, preppy school only to hang out with his ghetto friends. As the group gets back into their old ways, Michael refuses to continue with them. His opinions have changed since they last hung out and doesn't want to be the delinquent that he apparently was before hand.
After his friends give him one more chance to show that he still is BAD, Michael ditches the chance and tells his friends that they're nothing and not bad either. He goes into a lengthy dance number to show to them that he is BAD too, but just not in the way that they want him to be.
The direction and quality of film is excellent. With it's WIZARD OF OZ type feel, by having the film start off in Black and White and then at the point of the song's entrance, turning to color, only to go back to Black and White after the song's finished.
Once again, this is one of MJ's better MUSIC VIDEOS and is a must see for fans of both MJ and Scoresce.
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
It has brough balance to the force...
Being a rather big STAR WARS fan, i was extremely happy when viewing this film. It fit nicely with the OT (original trilogy) by using many more inclosed sets. It was as big and open as TPM was. It captured the same essence and 'force' that Episodes 4, 5, & 6 all have. It's filled with emotion and wonderful shots of the start of the CLONE WARS. Anakin is nearing his faithful down fall to Vader. Obi-Wan is becoming more and more of that mindful old man we see in A NEW HOPE. This film has it all, including many good jokes/puns by C-3PO near the end, which makes the line "WITH ALL THAT WE'VE BEEN THROUGH, IT'S AMAZING WE'RE IN AS GOOD OF CONDITION AS WE ARE" in EPISODE 4 more understandable and reminisciant.
STAR WARS EPISODE 2: ATTACK OF THE CLONES is a winner and a fav amongst STAR WARS fans like myself.
Jurassic Park III (2001)
The best of the Trilogy...
This part was the best out of all 3 films. Lots of action and dinos, the two thing most audiences wanted out of this film. The past two were 2 hours long, and dragged out what this film accomplished in 90 minutes. Many great surprises, and excellent special effects. I hope part 4 will be just as good!
Scary Movie 2 (2001)
JUST AS GOOD AS THE FIRST
This movie is one of the best parody movies I've ever seen. Many people put this film down, because it's "making fun of movies that were dumb in the first place". That's crap. First of all the first film was written by 2 different groups of people and then combined, hence why it was better. The 2nd one, only had 1 of the 2 groups writing it, hence why it was slightly not as good.
But this film is funny. You must look at the films that it's making fun of. It's not the slasher films. This time around, they're making fun of ghost films. This is why there isn't as much gore and gross out jokes. The ghost films simply didn't have that in them originally, so there's no reason to have them in this film.
Those people who hated this movie should just shut up and let those who liked it write reviews. Cuz this film is as good as the original, and better.
Gallagher: Stuck in the Sixties (1983)
Gallagher during his finest
This video is one of his best ever concerts and one of his funniest. However, you will need a slight bit of information about the 60's to understand half of the jokes. But the entire episode is not based on the 60's. He's got jokes about clothes, items that women buy for their homes, and the things guy's would rather buy. It's a hilarious video and i recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh!
Ladybugs (1992)
One of the best Rodney Dangerfield movies out there
This movie really shows Rodney still has it after 20 years of acting and doing comedies. His routines and special way of teaching soccer, using the "Exciting World of Soccer" play book as a guide, only adds to the comedy of this film. One of the best, no doubt!
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (1992)
Just as good now as it was with Johnny!
The tonight show has been as good as it ever was. Anyone can easily see that. The show has however gone through many changes, but that's because it's not Johnny's show anymore...it's Jay's. The Tonight Show is the best ever....and it can only get better!
