There is suspending disbelief and then there is this movie.
My fiancé and I have divergent tastes when it comes to movies and while I'm usually open to watching his favorites, I just could not get into this one. Massive CGI throughout, which I absolutely despise. The shipwreck scene was absurd on every level. Kudos to the actor who basically had to act against a green screen the entire time. I'm thankful that Peacock kept glitching out and I could not finish this movie. That said- the allegory of faith and God's providence was lovely but as pure entertainment, no. I need more to a story than two hours of CGI tigers and oceans with a completely unrealistic plot .
I didn't know what I was getting into when this started and then I caught a very brief blurb about it and I was like- oh no. Dude is stuck on a boat with a tiger. For two hours. This sounds dreadful.
Wasn't wrong....
