You People (2023)
It was ok and better than people are giving credit.
I was actually surprised to see how low most of the ratings were on here.
Don't get me wrong, there are some cringe parts and the racism stuff is kinda stupid but the movie was fun to watch overall.
There are some funny moments and I like Jonah Hill in this. (My wife thought he looked weird and didn't like his hair in it). But I appreciate his acting and humor. Eddie Murphy was pretty good and had some funny parts. I really he was fine.
Worth watching overall and there is definitely worse out there right now. But it's par for the course for an essentially free streaming movie. Just sorta meh and something to watch on a Friday night.
The Murdochs: Empire of Influence (2022)
Hatchet job
This was clearly made by CNN, the company against FOX. The entire piece is to make the family look bad to try and persuade voters to vote democrat. Tough to take all of this serious when they use words to make him out to seem like such a villian and make his kids look stupid. If someone can't see that this piece is to turn young voters to the left, then I see that as a problem.
This series is not serious journalism. Hatchet job.
It turned to be a piece made by cnn that was propping up their company and putting down Fox News and the Murdoch family. They're not perfect but it's so one sided.
The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
Garbage
Why are movies turning to garbage? How does a classic series turn into political commentary. Very misleading from what was advertised.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
Pretty bad.
I really wanted to like this and I tried. Had to force myself to watch. Fairly painful series.
Master of None: Moments in Love, Chapter 1 (2021)
Why would you change such a great show?
MON is or was one of the best shows ever made. And now... season 3? Not good. Why did you change the show?
Jupiter's Legacy (2021)
I liked it.
I watched the whole series in a few days. It kept my attention and was entertaining. Different. I looked forward to watching each episode. Worth a watch.
I Care a Lot (2020)
Could've been good but it's not.
You'll get frustrated watching this movie. I'm not sure why they categorize it as a comedy. The only times you'll laugh are when parts of this movie are so stupid it's comical. But I guess it was free to watch on Netflix so whatever.
