I agree with the original statement, but from a diferent reason. Piranha II is too good to be Cameron, I mean it actually has a script. Apart from terminator (the original) the is probably the only decent movie he's ever been associated with... (Decent in the ethical sense that is..) At least this movie isn't a bloated, expensive, moronic, hollywoodesque attemp at getting rich...

This was a very stupid movie... I can hardly express my dissapointment. Just cos zombie movies are underground, and the zombies fans are starving for entertainment it doesn't mean creators of zombie flicks can do anything they want and get away with it.

This movie had so terrible acting it beats most porn flicks I have seen, not to mention the sound technicians should have been fired! The script is such a complete theft from night of the living dead it I am puzzled there wasn't a lawsuit.

The only good things in this porr excuse for a movie were breasts and ok-quality filming at times. I give this movie a three, but I wasn't quite sure it deserved such a good grade.

(How anyone gan give it a ten is beyond me.. They must be the castmembers or something..)

Maybe the best horror film I have ever seen. Besides Twin Peaks this is the only thing I have ever seen that actually scared me! I loved it! I must have seen several hundred horror films and none as frightening as this one.. My girlfriend freaked out and now I can't even say Sadako in front of her or she won't get any sleep! I was even nervous of going to the bathroom alone after I saw this! It's just simply fantastic and it will leave you making funny noises.. Especially if you appreciate nice photography!

WOW!

I am a big fan of both Tim Burton and the original Apes films.. So it's easy to understand I was both anxious to see this new version as well as sceptical.

I was expecting to be disappointed, but nothing prepared me for what happened. The first hour of the movie was ok, the last was embarresing.

The humans could speak. The Gorillas were silly. Helena Bonham Carter behaved and looked like a human.. The only really cool things were the tributes to the original movie... "God damn! Damn them all to hell!" and so forth!

Where the hell did those horses come from?

Normally it is wise to avoid anything that has anything what-so-ever to do with Spielberg. However, this is a delightfull exception (there are ofcourse others).

Anyway, the amusingly morbid humor in this show makes me wonder how it could be made in the land of Morality.. It's simply too great to be american kids entertainment.

It's a pity though that I haven't seen all the episodes yet, I discovered it too late.. But when I did, I really fell in love!

I have seen it allright, and I was too young to understand it.. It's etched in my mind - much in the same way Twin Peaks is..

In these days of "let the lowest common denominator rule" I hadn't expected Tomb Raider to be a fantastic movie, however I was hoping it had some elements that didn't insult the ordinary viewers intelligence. I actually hoped it was atleast a well made Indiana Jones ripoff...

I was - ofcourse wrong. Tomb Raider is probably the worst movie I have seen all year. It was even worse than Hollow Man!!

The characters were flat and the plot was so thin it was a crying shame. There wasn't a scene I didn't predict. Do the producers really think they can cast a buxom lady with huge ammounts of collagen in her lips and expect it to make up for a onedimensional plot? Well, I should have expected all this - we are talking hollywood here..

However - the extreme ammounts of comercial in this movie surpassed even the worst I have seen sofar. Tomb Raider was more infomercial than action movie. Obviously sponsored by Gerber, some cellular company I can't recall and World Delivery Express (or something) they did nothing to even make the comercial subtle...

Well, with the MTV generation - what can you expect...?

On the more positive side - atleast I talked my girlfriend out of going to see Pearl Harbour...

This movie could very well have been a propaganda movie for the North americian falangist party - or some similar group... The strong man (Kersey) places himself above the law (but not outside the law) and liberates upstanding citizens by killing worthless trash. The only thing that made me think it wasn't made by the KKK was the fact that a jew starred as a good guy... Try watching it again while thinking of it as a propaganda movie for an extreme right wing group - and you'll see what I mean...

It's a tragedy that Jimmy Page actually made music for this movie... :(

The psychotic dreamscapes of this movie are so intense it has lost none of it's original power over the years. The scenery alone makes this film a unique experience well beyond what modern film has produced.

I often say, and I will say it again: German films from this period are the best - ever! And this one is the best of them all!
