Crawl (2019)
Good with some flaws
The movie is pretty good, although some parts (mainly the ending) were dumb. The atmosphere is notably above average for most movies, which I just love to see every single time it's present. But I feel as if more of the side-characters could've been needed or used. For example, in the trailers at least, the cop "ex-boyfriend" character for me was hyped up as a major character. Yet as soon as he re-appears he dies? I know he's a well known actor but c'mon. Also, they want you to care about the mom and sister but neither of them get little to no screen time, with even the mom having NO screen time. Also, the ending. This endinggggggg. I mean, it's not terrible if you see what I mean. But you can tell some corners had to definitely be cut as the ending just feels abrupt and out of place. With all these flaws aside, I still think the movie is good. The daughter and dad bonding here is top notch, the action is precise and entertaining, as I said the atmosphere is fantastic, overall it's definitely good overall. But, would I recommend it? Yeah, I would. This movie needs more attention as advertisements for it are far and wide. The movie theater I saw it at only had 13 people in it besides us watching it. And it's a shame because this movie isn't bad in any way. Check this one out and share it some love!
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Splinter/Slide Whistle Stooges (2008)
First one is awful, second one is tolerable
The Splinter is truly a evil, disgusting episode. There is no redeeming qualities to be seen in this entire episode. Use your remote to skip to the next episode rather than watch 11 minutes of a dumpster fire. Patrick just makes it WAY worse too. He's super mean in first episode and is cocky and bratty too! Just really makes you wonder why they're "friends."
Slide Whistle Stooges is a way better episode that even I rewatch sometimes. It's pretty fun and it reminds me of episodes like Naughty Nautical Neighbors and Good Neighbors, which are episodes I really like. I can see why you can dislike this episode, but overall it just feels like a mid ranking season five episode.
Do not watch the first episode but do watch the second one. That is my personal tip for anyone who dare watch this filth. Giving it a 4/10 because the second one was okay.
SpongeBob SquarePants: FarmerBob/Gary & Spot (2018)
A good episode!
I really don't understand this one's ranking. Sure, I don't remember FarmerBob all too much but Gary and Spot is a REALLY fun episode! Don't listen to the rating, this is an all around fun time to be had by all.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Nasty Patty/Idiot Box (2002)
Great, iconic episodes
This is by far my favorite episode of the entire show. Let me explain.
NASTY PATTY:
This is the lesser of the two to many people, however this is my personal favorite. The humor and jokes in this episode are pretty freaking great and its really funny to see a regularly kids cartoon have a episode about killing a health inspector and trying to bury his body. This episode is definitely my style of comedy, if done correctly, as shown in this episode.
IDIOT BOX:
Another great episode. This has by far some of the greatest jokes and quotes you will ever get in a SpongeBob episode. SpongeBob and Patrick are really funny here and Squidward just shines through in this episode, definitely the star of this episode. It shows anything can become good, just with a little help of your imagination.
It really goes to show that these first three seasons were among the funniest seasons of a show ever. It really makes you wonder how this show went down the tubes in the later seasons. If you haven't seen these seasons, I highly suggest you watch at least this episode, because man oh man, its a ride from start to finish.
