Transmorphers (2007)
Terrible "Transformers" Pseudo-copycat
The acting sucked. It sucked so badly that Eliza Swenson, who is by far mainly just a fourth-rate music composer, displayed acting better than the rest of the cast's. Barely, but enough that you can tell.
The visual effects sucked. "Star Wars" had better visual effects, and that was 30 years ago, just before CGI was even developed!
The subtitles probably suck, too (I watched a rented copy from my library, but couldn't bear to watch it again *with ads* just to compare the subtitles).
And the worst part of all is that the image on the front shows a robot that is in full, vibrant color, when the ones in the movie are silver and grey, as if making them colorful would have exceeded the budget. Along with the fact that there is hardly any real "transmorphing", this is unforgivable in my book.
One star for Swenson's acting.
Operation Dunkirk (2017)
A Disgrace to This Who Served and Sacrificed
This is a bad movie. I won't even go into how bad it is, that's been done in plenty of the previous reviews. Let's just say it's no "Saving Private Ryan". But more than just a bad movie, it is a disgrace to the men of WWII, and our military in general. If you have any appreciation for the sacrifices made in this war, just watching this should make you feel like a traitor/deserter.
D-Day (2019)
A Disgrace to Those Who Served and Sacrificed
This is a bad movie. I won't even go into how bad it is, that's been done in plenty of the previous reviews. Let's just say it's no "Saving Private Ryan". But more than just a bad movie, it is a disgrace to the men of Operation Overlord, and our military in general. If you have any appreciation for the sacrifices made in this war, just watching this should make you feel like a traitor/deserter.
