Bumblebee (I) (2018)

Don't expect everything to make sense. There are a lot of times where the plot moves the characters, meaning even though they should all be smarter, they act stupid to move the plot forward. They do stuff that are very strange because the plot need them to.

But it was fun and cute. A nice action movie for kids. Don't expect too much and you will have a good time. Bumblebee is so sweet.

Shazam! (2019)

A very action kids movie

It was fun. A lot of stuff that did not make sense, but as long as you do not focus on that and realise that it is made for a younger audience then you can just enjoy the movie. I really enjoyed it actually. Fun characters and story. The CGI was not the best but it was okay.

A Simple Favor (2018)

Nice mystery movie

It had those twists and turns that are really fun in a thriller. It wasn't easy to guess the ending, but I'm a little sad that it was not as complicated as it first felt like. All in all it was a good movie. Felt a bit like Gone girl.

John Wick (2014)

Good fighting scenes with world's most badass Mary Sue

For an action movie, it was so quiet. Sure, there was music and some talking but mostly the fighting and everything was so quiet. I liked it, but I'm not used to fighting scenes being built that way. There was very little explanation for the story or the background or any character. We are just put into this world without any explanation what is happening or who anyone is. However, it is pretty easy to understand the chain and who is with or against John. It was a good action movie with a lot of good actors. Also, Michael Nyqvist is a great actor, but his Swedish accent is so prominent here. If you want to sound like a Swede speaking English, that is who you should sound like. I liked that Keanu did his own fight scenes. Made it feel more badass that he puts in so much time for the fighting. One thing, there were so many times they could have shot him, but instead of a clean shot they did the Bond villain thing over and over. Also, Wick can shoot several people while running and tumbling over things, but not a whiny manchild in a towel? That's the difficult one?

Searching (III) (2018)

So gripping

I loved every second of it. I kind of wish I had watched on my computer to make it feel even more real. But it was so good. The use of tech intertwined with the story, my god it was well made. I think I've liked everything John Cho has ever been in, but this was such a step up from everything else. Usually when I watch a movie I do one or two other things at the same time, but I could not move my eyes from the screen. It was trilling, emotional, and so exciting. Every new piece of information that came up. And I could see myself in how I as a normal person search for things. That's the main thing that made it great, that it felt so real.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)

Really wish there was a second and third movie

I love this movie so much. The first time I watched it with a friend, we jumped back in the movie so many times to rewatch all our favourite parts over and over again. I've watched it a couple of times, and I still like it so so much. I've always liked spy movies. Growing up watching Bond. This movie is fun and clever and it's just a great movie. I might just go and rewatch it right now actually.

Yes, I know this review is stupid positive. But when you find a movie that you can enjoy without finding any big mistakes or things you get annoyed about, you just have to feel happy.

The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)

Fun movie with bad jokes

Really liked it. The jokes they made were really bad though. But expect for poor jokes and poor timing, this was a fun and fast-paced movie that was very entertaining. It made me relive my childhood dream about being a spy. The action was good. It had all of the classic spy movie elements that we often saw in these kind of movies in early 2000. And it is a success for this movie.

Really interesting movie. I got the ending, but it happened so fast that I did not really register it at first. Had to rewind because I did not get how some of the things got connected.

Relevant movie, and well made.

Venom (2018)

Fun and weird movie

I really enjoyed this movie. So, the first 30 minutes are a little slow and confusing, but after that it really picks up speed and becomes a totally different movie. It is fun and fast-paced.

The alien and Tom hardy really makes this movie great fun to watch. That lobster scenen is really really weird and very entertaining.

Robin Hood (2018)

Points for trying to make a "new" kind of Robin Hood. There have been so many before that it is difficult to do something fresh. However, even though the whole arrows that shoot like bullets were fun and entertaining, the story does not hold up. It felt like they put all their energy on these cool fight scenes and then kind of forgot that there had to be something in between them to move the story. +Fight scenes are cool and entertaining -Story -false empowered Marian -The incentive for Mr Fifty Shades to do what he does -Plot holes

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Great end of an era

A fun movie that did not feel like it was 3 hours. It felt right how they focused it, but also good that they gave time for everyone else. Since I knew this was the last movie for Tony stark and Steve Rogers among others, I did not feel that much when they left. I really liked that Steve and Peggy got to grow old together though. I did not enjoy the pandering women power part of the fight. I love all those strong women, but that was so awkward. Thor was awesome! I hope Loki is alive. Since he changed his future by teleporting, something must have changed. No end scene?!? Bruce hulk was funny. Natasha got a great ending. Gamora!
