Fear the Walking Dead: The Little Prince (2019)
Many happy mamas and papas
The main focus of the episode is the relationship between the female characters and the siblings, especially Annie and Dylan. And it is disappointing. Symphaty and sweet moments is all you get until the very end of the episode when we got a true adventorous moment. That's what made FTWD cool!
Fear the Walking Dead: The End of Everything (2019)
No creativity
All this episode is a mess.
Althea is a very original character with a lot of potential. It all went ruined. Her backstory doesn't simply fit, it's silly and not creative.
In the episode, Althea just kinda falls in love with the woman who wanted to kill her and just pointlessly accepts her fate, but surprisingly (really?) there's no murder and they instead kiss each other. Cool. That woman just killed her partner few days earlier for less (but to protect the mission, sure) however spares Al who's a journalist and revealed her purpose of collecting the memory of that dying world. Just for the sake of love, I guess. Yeah, it makes sense.
By the way, the final was predictable since the beginning of the episode. It's a really bad one.
Il bianco il giallo il nero (1975)
Light hearted Samurai parody in the West
Not every movie is made to become legendary and this is definitely one of them, so don't expect anything outstanding from this title. However, things are made for a purpose and "il bianco, il nero, il giallo" fully reaches its own. It's in fact a light hearted comedy with some puns and surrealism that you want to watch with your children on an ordinary quiet evening (eg. nobody ever gets hurt and the happy ending is served).
The novelty of the movie is represented by the exaggerated nonsensical samurai portray, brilliantly played by Milian who is the real star in here (and so much at ease!). Some great moments are the spit in the eye which is probably the best spit I've seen (it kept me laughing for a week at least!) and the identification of the pony Shimbè.
The movie has a feel good attitude all the time and some wanna-be morality is displayed, quite similarly to They call me Trinity. Noticeably, Sakura and Blanc the Blanc fulfil their dreams, while Black Jack retires after being prized, and the Indians are saved.
Good vibes have the power to take a bit of your soul and this movie does just that. I recommend to watch it without great expectations and to relax your mind.
