Malchiki v nebe (2003)
Hearts are the same
I rated 8 out of ten to this movie. The movie tells a story of three boys from different families. One is reach enough the son of the director of a bank, the other is the son of movie director and the last one is the son of a drunk man. Nevertheless they are best friends and always are together in every case. They fell in love to one girl, but the girl loves only the son of drunk man... Later the son of drunk man faces lot of problems in his life, while the son of the director gets more problem then him: A wealthy family is poorer than a poor one... The lovely girl moves to England to continue her study. They keep in contact. The son of the director of bank wants to meet her in London. At the same time, his friend sells his written book by high amount and buys a ticket to see his girlfriend. Friends meets in London, and decide to ask from girl whom she does accept. But, unfortunately their girlfriend already has got married...
Sokout (1998)
Sokout is a silence of TAJIK people
A little blind Tajik boy each day comes late to his job. The reason is his joy of life: The voice of around. He likes to listen to the music of nature, he likes to be as other people to see it. Unfortunately it costs high in his life. He loses his job, just because he loves music. The owner of the house where boy and his mother live tell them to free the apartment and they remain without anything. But boy continues to enjoy the life... The movie makes hearts ache. The song which I liked in this movie so much was "Charo hargiz namepursi?" (Why you never ask?) of Daler Nazarov which performed very well by Oleg Fezov. I recommend this movie to watch for all those who love the life!
Kumir (1988)
The Idol of Tajiks
The Idol, as it is translated in English, is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Of course, it was long ago. Once reading in a newspaper an interview with Muboraksho Mirzoshoyev, I got a bit history of this movie. Yarmahmad Aralov, the editor, likes the voice of Muboraksho with a song "Ay yorum biyo" and starts decides to take a move which he wished for long time. He wanted to take a movie about GREAT SINGER, Daler Nazarov. But this time he concludes that it is time to ask for their opinion and meets Daler. Thus the story begins... Daler's character in the movie, Khurshed, is a guy from Badakhshan, mountaneous region of Tajikistan. His voice makes him very popular, not only among Badakhshanis, but even in Dushanbe, furthermore, in whole Tajikistan. But however their enemies can find a way to make troubles for him. He has been forced to come back to his motherland... The movie contains lot of songs inside. All songs were Nazarov's hits in those years: Majnun nabudum, Zebo ba Zebo, E ishqi sina suzad, Chashmi kabudi dudi... Muboraksho also sings his famous song: Ay yorum biyo! Unfortunately, I can not find this movie in any place. I searched it a lot, and am still searching, hope will find soon! Enjoy movie if you find!
Köshpendiler (2005)
No differ from Hollywood movies
I liked this movie very much. This movie is very nice, and has no differ from those American movies. Just will remind you, that Mark Dacascos plays. First, I thought, it might be waste of time to watch Kazakh movies, but I see, no, the waste of time is that you don't watch Kazakh movies. However, after this movie, I concluded such. Even most of players are not Kazakh, but a Gaukhar plays as an American actress. I would give her some awards for such a performance. OK, as for movie, the above comment tells everything. If I also tell, then, there is no interest to watch movie. Therefore, I wish you to enjoy this movie as well!!!
Luna Papa (1999)
Excellent movie
I may recommend this movie for those who has a great enjoy of life. The music in the movie is the music of life. The movie itself shows the truth in the life, the truth which is difficult to correct or let me say, to change. Th life in the deserts like Farkhor is very difficult. I myself spend my life in such conditions. For those who never experienced this life maybe the movie is a bit funny. But for me, I didn't notice any comedy, but rather tragedy. Yes, the tragedy of the usual lie of Tajiks.
The movie is in Tajik/Russian language. However it is written that the movie is in Russian only.
Daler Nazarov is great in choosing composition. Long live Bakhtiyar Khudaynazarov!!!
