The Villains of Valley View (2022)
Pretty Enjoyable
"The Villains of Valley View" is a sitcom about this family of supervillains who now have to live out an "ordinary lifestyle" I'll be honest, I somehow randomly saw an ad for this show. I decided to check out the show, and I actually enjoyed it! A lot of people have been comparing this show to Nickelodeon's "The Thundermans" but reversed. I can definetly see why they are. The jokes are actually pretty good. Not every joke hits, but there were some surprisingly funny jokes. If you like supervillains, or a quick laugh, I'd check out "Villains of Valley View."
Danger Force: Villains' Night (2020)
this is a rip-off of Danger and Thunder
This is the exact same plot used in the Danger and Thunder crossover so this proves that this show is LAZY.
Hamilton (2020)
Worth the Hype!!!!!!!!!
This musical is BEYOND incredible!!!!! This is a pro shot musical done well. Since it came out, I have seen it 5 times!!!!!!! The score is amazing. I cannot think of a song that I didn't like. Every single character is likable. I think the hip-hop route was definitely a smart move!!!! This is one of the absolute best musicals of ALL time. It can appeal to anyone. I highly recommend this movie musical to anyone. In my opinion, it is the best broadway show.
Milo Murphy's Law (2016)
A quick, funny cartoon!!
Ok, this cartoon is really funny and smart!!!! The comedy timing is pitch perfect and almost has this slapstick comedy style!!! When I saw the very first episode when I was 11 or 12, I laughed a LOT!!!!! Even today, (I'm 14 now) the jokes still feel like a breath of fresh air!!!!
The basic plot of the show is that Milo, a middle school kid constantly is followed by Murphy's Law. This is the statement that whatever can go wrong, WILL go wrong. It's a simple premise, but DAMN, Disney XD makes it interesting. He goes through so many funny, clever settings.
This cartoon appeals to both kids and adults in that special Disney XD way!!!!!
Overall, Milo Murphy's Law is a fast paced, funny, and interesting cartoon. I really recommend this show just for a good quick laugh
Danger Force: Quaran-kini (2020)
I HATE this episode.....
This episode is so bad.. it hurts. I personally don't really like this show anyway, but even if you are a fan of this show, I guarantee you won't like this episode. I saw it once and will never see it again.
The basic "plot" for the episode is that a gas leak has spread throughout Swellview forcing everyone to stay quarantined. They are on a zoom meeting with all the villians to try to find out who it is.
There is no comedy whatsoever. During this entire episode ( though this applies to any Danger Force episode, I did not even crack a smile at the so called "jokes''. This really did make me miss the days when the comedy was smarter in Henry Danger. Sure, the jokes weren't always funny, but you could at least tell they were trying to make you laugh. THIS on the other hand had me MAD.
Overall, I would avoid this episode at ALL costs. I can definitly recommend a skip.
Henry Danger: Danger & Thunder (2016)
It's OK. That's really it
If you didn't already know, this episode is a crossover episode between Henry Danger and The Thundermans.
Personally, this crossover was just average. This was just one of the more forgettable episodes, even though it's a crossover. At least these two worlds are very similar so that helps.
I might be a little bit biased as Thundermans isn't one of my favorites.
The main plot of the crossover is that Phoebe sees Captain Man and Kid Danger constantly fighting crime. She travels to Swellview to help them out. The three heroes go undercover as evil supervillains so they can figure out how they wasn't to destroy Captain Man and Kid Danger. Max, (Phoebe's twin brother) wants to get his hands on some cool evil gadget.
The Sub- Plot for this episode is absolutely terrible and has no connection to the main plot. The B plot is basically Piper has text neck and can't text. So Jasper accidentally texts the wrong person and Piper's friends get really mad. This has no connection to the main story whatsoever.
The real plus for this episode is that we get a team-up with every villain in the show. Also, The Toddler being the main villain wins major points as he is my favorite of all the bad guys.
Overall, this crossover was really forgettable and bland. The only thing I can say is " Oh yeah. This crossover happened." It might entertain younger viewers, but I personally wouldn't choose it. It's just average.
Andi Mack (2017)
Damn, This is Excellent!!!!!
When I first heard that Disney Channel was making a new sitcom, I rolled my eyes because modern Disney Channel is so BAD it hurts. When I went in to this one, I went in ready to hate it. I finished the episode saying, YES. More of this please. Disney, you can make a good sitcom if you try. This show is so GOOD that it's insane.
What I really like about this show is that we get Disney talking about very advanced topics. We got introduced to a gay character, panic attacks, and so many more. They cover these heavier topics so well, that it makes for a beautiful story.
The characters in this show are all very relatable and very likable. I love each and every character so when I get asked the question, Who is your favorite character, I say all of them because the stories feel REAL. That is what you want in a good sitcom.
Overall, Andi Mack is immaculate, elegant and well constructed. This is a modern sitcom done WELL. Nickelodeon, take notes.
Normally I don't rate things a 10/10, but I think Andi Mack deserves it. I really recommend this show to any viewer out there
Henry Danger: Remember the Crimes (2020)
An enjoyable episode!
This episode is so simple, yet it is easily one of my favorites!
The basic plot for this episode is that Ray and Henry tell Jasper and Piper some of the things that they did before they found out the secret. It's a super simple premise but, it really entertained me.
I really liked this episode because of the team's adventures they've been through over the years. This episode really made me remember all the things that happened in all of the episodes. It was really interesting to hear all the adventures we saw re-told. This is an episode where I laughed a lot. I also was always saying "Oh yeah, I remember that."
There was so many good memories that this show had and this episode captured it all. It was one of the best episodes of the series and I really recommend this episode
Henry Danger: Rumblr (2020)
An absolutely great episode!
To me personally, I think this is the absolute best episode of the series. It had great comedy timing, and some really great moments between enemy characters.
I'll do a plot summary with no spoilers as you really should watch this episode
The basic plot for this episode is that Captain Man is getting bored and tired of fighting the same villains over and over again. Jasper, Piper, Charlotte and Henry all convince him to get on an app called Rumblr. Rumblr is an app where they pair heroes and villains to schedule a fight with each other. Captain Man gets paired up with someone who he didn't want and didn't like Rumblr and remembered that he likes to meet his heroes the old- fashioned way and goes back to fighting the same villains.
I also really liked the concept of two enemies having a nice, pleasant conversation. I thought that it was interesting that two enemies put aside their differences and just had a pleasant conversation
This episode not only has sharp comedy, but it also has some great villians!!! Also, some of my favorite actors and stuntmen are in this episode like Ben Giroux and Jessie Graff!!!!!
Normally, I don't rate things a 10/10 but this episode was the exception. This episode had me laughing, and immersed in the storyline and I was overall really entertained in this episode.
I definitely recommend this episode to any age viewers of Henry Danger. It's an absolute favorite of mine.
Henry Danger: Toddler Invasion (2018)
This episode is actually kinda funny
The main reason why I rated this episode an 8/10 is personally, I just really like the Toddler. Any time this guy comes on screen or says his signature line, I just instantly start to smile and sometimes even laugh! Ben Giroux plays the Toddler so well it makes the episode more enjoyable! Here is the basic plot for this episode
The main plot is a little weird, but it has some good jokes in it though!
The plot for this episode is that the Toddler wants to become indestructible like Captain Man, so he traps him in a hot box and makes him sweat. Kid Danger is trapped and is unable to rescue him. Why does the Toddler want his sweat you may ask? Well, if he drinks enough of Captain Man's sweat, he will become indestructible (for about 45 minutes).
The way he spends his 45 minutes of being indestructible is just comedy genius!!! Instead of stopping other heroes, he spends the entire time testing to make sure he is indestructible which was pretty funny!
If you like the Toddler and his really weird, wacky shenanigans, I actually really recommend this episode just for a quick laugh!!!!
Henry Danger: Live & Dangerous: Part 1 (2017)
I don't recommend this episode....
Let's be real. Season 3 was not the best of Henry Danger. But this episode was Season 3 at its worst. In case you are unfamiliar with the plot, A famous internet celebrity, Frankini (Frankie Grande) invites Captain Man and Kid Danger over for a party. Little do they know, it's not a party. The whole thing was so Frankini could become the most viewed live stream ever. The only real plus I can give to this episode was that I did like Goomer. He was still his dumb, likable self that we knew from Sam and Cat. Overall, this episode is really bland and the jokes were really unfunny. Personally, I don't recommend this episode of Henry Danger. For a better Frankini episode, I recommend Captain Man-Kini or Henry Danger: The Musical.
Henry Danger: Captain Man-kini (2018)
Really Funny and Smart!
This episode is actually really funny! Despite me being 14, probably not the primary demographic for this show, I found the jokes in this episode really funny and clever. I laughed a lot during this particular episode.
I'll try not to give anything away about the plot summary so this will be a basic overview of the episode as this one is a fun one to watch!
The basic story line for this episode is that Captain Man and Kid Danger need Frankini's help in order to stop some crazy internet guy from launching a grandma off a ski lodge. So in order to stop him, Captain Man and Frankini swap bodies so that way Captain Man can stop the internet guy, but as Frankini.
Henry Danger: Captain Mom (2019)
Abysmal Main Plot...... but the Sub plot is actually good!
This episode is very weird on many levels...
If you are unfamiliar with the plot line, Ray (Captain Man) eats an alien egg by mistake and he gets pregnant. While pregnant, Captain Man is defenseless against the grease shortage so Piper goes on the mission with Kid Danger (Henry)
The Main Plot for this episode is so bad and frankly unpleasant to watch as we see Ray, a man pregnant. That is just wrong! Then, we see Ray go through the typical mood swings and pregnancy cravings that most pregnant women go through. This is the most out of character Ray has been throughout the entire series as he starts to turn on his friends and is overall just rude.
The Sub- Plot for this episode though is actually really good! As Captain Man is helpless, Piper decides to go on the mission with Kid Danger to stop the grease shortage in Swellview. This makes for a very interesting plot line! I would have much prefered if this was the main plot... but nope just a bunch of weird pregnant scenes of Ray.
Overall, this episode is weird, uncomfortable, and really annoying. This episode had one of the better sub plots. If the main plot wasn't so atrocious, I would rate this higher.
Danger Force (2020)
Skip this show at ALL COSTS!!!!!
Personally, I really enjoyed Henry Danger. Sure it might not have been the greatest, but I found it really fun and entertaining. So it really hit me hard when I watched Danger Force. Honestly, this spin-off is just disappointing
First, The child actors are AWFUL
These child actors can't really act. I really could not stand the actors in this show, Danger Force does not have that child actor chemistry that the kids in Henry Danger did. What I mean is that they just don't seem to work as well together with the adults as the kids on Henry Danger did
Second, There is no comedy timing
The "jokes" in this show are not funny. At least in Henry Danger, I cracked a smile and maybe even a laugh. In the episode of Danger Force that I watched, I didn't even crack a single smile. Sure, the jokes in HD weren't always funny but at least you knew the actors were trying to give some comedy to the show. DF however has unfunny jokes and no comedy timing from the actors
Third, no character is likable in this show
Ray has gone from that goofy, but kind of charming character into an outright idiot.
Chapa is REALLY Annoying. They tried to play her up as like Piper, but so much less likable
Miles plays the I'm pretty cool but kind of nerdy guy. They tried to play him up as Henry with all the charm sucked out of him
Bose plays your typical "idiot" character which is so played out
and Mika plays the ''I'm smarter than all of you" which is SO annoying
Danger Force is an AWFUL spin-off that dumped on a really good show. To sum it up, I DON'T recommend Danger Force. I DO recommend Henry Danger.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996)
Wow. Just Wow
This movie is so beautifully crafted and it so deserves more credit. I absolutely love it when Disney goes into dark territories and Hunchback definitely delivered! Hunchback easily deserves to be on the best Disney movies of all time! If you like darker films, you should definitely check this one out!
