Arrival (2016)
Great story, but an audio mess
A movie that gives food for thought / reflection.
My problem with the movie (as with most movies), is the way it has been put together.
Spoken audio is at times, really really low, while FX and music / mood audio is booming.
Either you will not hear what is spoken or you will blast audio, that will be heard in the next room or by neighbours.
Please find a better audio balance.
Wakfu: Vampyro (2009)
Chatty-chit-chat
Episode of chatty-chit-chat.
This is one of those annoying scenes where trouble unfolds due to inaction. The villain gets away, because the heroes stop and listens the villains monologue. They confront the villain and lets him chat away again almost losing an ally.
Please stop these kind of conflicts that could easily have been avoided. Like, people need light to survive the night and have a lit candle. Someone sits close to it and sneezes turning their heads towards the candle and blows it out. Loathe it!
The Walking Dead: The Next World (2016)
An episode of why
Rick and Daryl acted out of character. Dumbed down, as if all their experience has disappeared for a while.
Why was this script / episode approved? It didn't make sense.
Please don't change characters, to fit how you want a story to go. Make it smarter. Rewrite, until it would make sense.
The Old Guard (2020)
Nice idea
The story was a good idea, filmed badly.
In London, when being freed, as in a lot of other cringy bad movies, there was a "smalltalk" scene lasting about 5 minutes while slowly freeing/unrestraining allies, in a critical hectic "let's hurry up to survive" moment.
Just why.
