Honestly, very disappointment
15 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The show doesn't understand Po in my opinion.

In the movies, he's a goofball, he is clumsy, he is very happy and a goody goody two shoes. But in the movies, he knows when to get serious, and he is much more selfless.

In this show, Po goes on his heroic quest to get his title and fame back, not to save china. And because of his uncharacteristic goal, he doesn't take the journey seriously enough, which makes him unlikable. In the movies, when Kai was going to steal everyone's chi, Po screwed around only because he was told it would help him learn to control chi and defeat Kai. And when he realizes he can't stop Kai, he puts the jokes aside and tells everyone to run in desperation.

In here, even though they keep telling us the stakes are huge, Po keeps screwing around and caring more about his lost title than the life of the other people. This isn't Po, and it ruins the show for me.

The show isn't all bad. The blade character is pretty good, the soundtrack is nice, and it is entertaining. The animation does look cheap, which makes the fight scenes a mixed bag. Some are good, some not so much. The main plot is also fine on paper, but Po's selfish motivation really bugs me, because he is my favorite protagonist of time.

Overall, while it isn't necessarily bad, I can't enjoy it because of how they treated Po.

Amphibia (2019–2022)
8/10
Amazing at times, but messy and unfocused
28 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Season 1: cute, fun filler episodes, that contribute close to nothing to the plot. But, for what it is, it's still fun. I enjoy this season, but the plots are cliche and nothing out of the ordinary. People who say it's important for the character development, I counter with a good plot should advance the characters. 7/10

Season 2: amazing, best season of the show. There is more focus on real character development and plot, and even of there's a filler, it's much funnier. True colors is amazing, and the build up to that finale was great. Also, the gravity falls episode is my favorite episode in the show, and it's beautiful. 9/10

Season 3: first half is just as good as season 2. While there is filler, it's also rich in character development for Anne and her parents. I would have preferred more Sasha episodes, but still good.

Now the second half is really disappointing. After Anne gets back to amphibia, they return to unfocused filler episodes. Them building a giant army would have been fine, if they played a more significant role in the finale, and they didn't. The earth stuff is much better executed. But the filler episodes come at a cost, because they take the focus from much more important plot points. Andreas's backstory needed to be 20 min, and we needed more of the core. Darcy was wasted!! Anne with no real training masters her powers, which feels unearned in All In. Marcy's inner fight against the core should have been more significant, Anne and Sasha's reaction to Darcy should have been more substantial. All in was very disappointing, because there wasn't enough build up. The final episode is honestly really good, although I don't think Anne should have defeated the core without Sasha and Marcy. The whole point of the show is the relationship between the three girls, and it should have been the key to defeating the core. Other than that, the finale was great. So season 3 could have been much better, but still good. 8/10

Overall, great show, but not the next gravity falls or anything.

The Owl House (2020–2023)
10/10
I love it so much!!!!!
8 June 2022
The show takes a lot of tropes, and just make them better. The romamce starts in the middle instead of the end, the comic relief character gets a lot of backstory and emotional moments, they have a strong allegory for mental illness or a disability, and all of these are balanced with comedy and some very well animated fight scenes!!! The struggles the characters go through are realistic and relatable. The mystery brings me gravity falls vibes, and the characters are charming and likable. This show is incredible, and I absolutely love it!!! While it starts a bit slow, there isn't a bad episode. The writing is great, the animation is great, the music is great, the characters are great, the acting is great, and I seriously consider this the successor to gravity falls. Not as perfect, but still amazing, and I recommend it to everyone, no matter how old you are!

The Owl House: Eda's Requiem (2021)
Season 2, Episode 7
10/10
Is this the most underrated episode in the show?
2 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is imo the BEST episode in the owl house at least at the time of writing this (after s2 ep17). A strong build up of the relationship between eda and raine, that pays of in the best moment I'm the entire show. Their duet is just stunning! The animation is gorgeous, and the music is incredible! The violin and the other instrument represent eda and raine perfectly, and it's very emotional. Not to mention the fact that eda almost committed suicide at this moment. A very heavy scene, that always hits you in the feels. In addition, the king plotline is also good. It provides some levity for the episode, and ends with a beautiful scene, where king changes his last name to clawthorne. Great payoff, that connects to Eda's struggle throughout the episode. Brad Breeck, the composer for the episode made his best work yet! Overall, this episode has everything, and deserves more praise!!!!

WOW. SO MUCH STUFF
9 April 2022
This episode had everything and everyone, and it balanced it so well. So many characters had developed in this episode. We find out more things about the characters, and the emotions in this one hit hard. All while having a fun plotline filled with action. Not to mention the animation and music, that were as great as always. This is one of the best episodes in the entire show so far. And that's saying a lot coming from this show.

Gravity Falls (2012–2016)

This is not a show
28 February 2022
It's an interactive story you engaged with and were a part of. There's nothing like that on TV, and the complexity of the plot, is only enhanced by the amazing character work and wonderful animation and soundtrack. The acting is incredible, the dialogue is witty and sharp when it needs to be, but also emotional and heartbreaking when it needs to be. This show can get really intense, with s2 ep11 being the most intense 22 minutes of content I have ever consumed, and it's my favourite piece of content ever produced. All of that, while still having a child like wonder, that fits that coming of age story. The amazing plot I mentioned earlier, serves the characters, like every good plot should. This show isn't perfect, but watching it while it aired, being a part of this experience is something that can't be recreated or matched. It transcended television, and it's my favourite show of all time. A masterpiece that deserves all the praise!

Amazing but not perfect
22 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This finale was awesome!!!! Filled with twists, turns and incredible character moments, but I do have one complaint, although season 3 could fix that. The king is a bit cliche villain, with weak motivations. He is a conqueror, because he wants power. They could have created a better story for him, and they still can in season 3. Still and incredible episode!!!!

Fun and light episode, with some solid jokes and cool action. It's not the most emotional or best written episode, but it's cute and enjoyable.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Last Day Pt 1 (2021)

Great first half!!!!
17 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This finale was epic!!! I have seen some reviews that say that it's out of character for jake to quit the force, but this entire season has been building up to this. Him seeing the flaws of the system in the first episode, him saving Doug Judy in their episode, he slowly became disillusioned with the police. He likes being a detective. He could be a PI like Rosa, but quitting the force was well set up. Besides that, the episode is the final heist, so it's crazy, elaborate amd hilarious!!!! Amazing finale!!!

Jojo Rabbit (2019)
10/10
Well, this movie is amazing!!
1 September 2021
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! Jojo's arc is extremely well told amd extremely compelling. The acting is great!!!! The cinematography is great. The movie takes the smart route of not making fun of the holocaust or the war. The movie makes fun of the stupid racist nazi belief. If somebody is offended because a movie laughs at Nazis, I don't know what to tell them. The humour is great in my opinion! The characters are likable (except imaginary Hitler who's supposed to be hated). The movie's themes are wonderful! This is one of my favourite movies, for its strong humour, drama, characters, story, script and editing! A movie that will be remembered!!!!

Thrilling, and pretty accurate
16 August 2021
I live in Israel. This is a very accurate representation of what happened, but even if it didn't, it would still be good. The movie is well done, with claustrophobic, stressful cinematography, that makes the viewer dread the entire film. The score is also pretty good, and the actors are giving a great performance. The character of Igal amir is flashed out, and we see his transformation, and how he is pushed to his limits by the radical groups in Israel. I would say that it does drag at times, but overall it's a great movie.

We were on the verge of greatness, we were this close
13 August 2021
This show is really good. I understand why people don't like it, and they have some fair points that I agree with. I don't mind filler episodes if they are done well. Sometimes they're done well, other times, not so much. The plot centric episodes are really good though, and the characters are good, with crosshair being the show stealer in terms of writing, and the animation is incredible. Not all characters worked well. I feel like echo got sidelined, but he had his fair amount of development in the clone wars. This show's greatest strength is the world building. Seeing the Republic's transition to the empire from the clones point of view was great. Overall, it's the best first season out of any star wars animated show, but not one of the great ones YET. It's like a 7.8/10 for me.

It shows the hard choices in ezran's life perfectly, callum and rayla have some cute moments sprinkled in, but ezran is the star of this episode. In this episode he needs to take responsibility, and make tough decisions, and it's all wonderfully told!!!

The Legend of Korra (2012–2014)
9/10
difficult to rate
14 March 2021
This show is hard to review, because the quality of each season is very different. season 1: 8/10. the romance plotlines are not very well written, but the story, pacing and villain more than make up for it. the villain slowly becomes a bigger threat as the story goes on, and the villain is awesome!! the characters are fine. korra works really well as the main character, as a complete opposite of aang. the side characters are good, but nothing really outstanding. the animation is great, and the fight scenes are dynamic and engaging. season 2: 4/10. the romantic plotlines that damaged the first season become the focus of the show, and it's terrible. korra becomes unlikable, as she doesn't listen to everyone who was close to her in s1. the side characters are acting out of character, the animation looks worse than s1 (in the first half) and the designs feel like they don't fit in this world. the villains are horrible and the pacing is bad. the saving grace of the season is tenzin and his family, that have good character arcs, and varric who is hilarious. there is an excellent two part episode that explore the history and lore, and it has a unique and great looking animation style. unfortunately, every other time they try to expand upon the world, it's bad. season 3: 9.5/10. this season is such an improvement over s2, it's unbelievable. this is the best season. it's well paced, the characters are likable, and the villains are outstanding!!! the animation looks great, the action is amazing, and the climax of this season is incredible. season 4: 8/10. this season is great, but the ending suffers from one weird decision they made about the villain, that feels out of place in this world. the villain isn't as compelling, although still a good villain, but they make up for it with korra's arc. it's her best season, with her best arc, when she is the most vulnerable. the side characters are as good as they were in s3, except tenzin, who takes a passive role this season. overall, the rating of the entire show is hard to pin down, it depends on what you choose to focus on. i choose to focus on the good stuff, so I give this show a 9/10.

this show makes it so hard to love
1 March 2021
The show starts off weak. i mean the first 3 seasons aka half of the show is mediocre with some good to great episodes sprinkled in. there are only two good characters in these seasons, and the writing is just not very good. it's cliche', it's generic, and it does multiple tropes that have been executed better on other shows. season 4 is the good season with some great episodes. the problem is that in this season, one of the characters becomes just very unlikable. true to the character but not fun to watch. season 5 on the other hand, is awesome! such a big improvement!! a season that's on par with some of the greatest cartoons ever made! the characters are interesting, you have a great villain, there is more tension, the jokes are better, and the writing and pacing are much better. the show worths a try at least. watch the first couple episodes (although they are the worst), if you like, keep watching. if you dislike the episodes, and you don't have the patience to watch it until it gets good, just stop.

This is fun
26 February 2021
The plot isn't good, most of the human characters are boring, the music is too modern, and doesn't compliment Tom and Jerry very well. But the action and chases are really fun. The crew behind the movie knows the characters and it shows. Wish there was more action, but it's still fun and old time fans may recognise some of the the skits.

15 January 2021
This show is not a comedy! It's a story and character driven fantasy show with jokes. And I love it! Every time the focus is on the characters or the story and world, it's awesome!!! Don't treat this show as a comedy, and kind of suffer through most of season 1, still enjoyable, but mostly one offs. This show is fun!

SpongeBob never had continuity so I didn't care! The plot is a mess, filled with plot holes, but I don't care! I watch SpongeBob for laughs, not a tight plot or script. The movie is hilarious!!! I laughed so hard!!! It felt like an amazing tribute and gratitude to Stephen hillenburg. Not as good as the first movie, but still awesome!

29 August 2020
This is the best episode ever made!!! In every tv show period!!!! If you haven't seen it for some reason, DO IT!!!! (after you watch all of tne episodes leading up to this one). You won't regret it! Sorry sozin's comet, this is a masterpiece! The amazing characters, the ABSOLUTELY INSANE level of tension, the revelations that only give you more questions (in a good way), and the last 4 minutes of this episode, is the most emotional I have ever been watching anything. The animation and music are fantastic, the voice acting is phenomenal and the pacing is fast and moving quickly, but with enough time to let everything sink. Best 22 minutes of content ever!!!!

This episode is awesome!!!!! The best of the show thus far! Spectacular animation! Incredible character development! Memorable and captivating scenes! A really nice music! Great voice acting! It's amazing to see how much the characters have progressed, and how they still have to learn! Some funny jokes and clever writing. After this episode, (and the rest of the episodes) I can safely declare this show as the true successor of gravity falls!!!
