Lost: House of the Rising Sun (2004)
Better but still not perfect...
Of course this episode is way better than 'White Rabbit', but it still lacks the quality of the pilot or Walkabout. As 'White Rabbit' doesn't, 'House Of The Rising Sun' shows that the story can continue and tell the backstories of the characters at the same time.
The problem is that some flashbacks are unnecessary, and boring. How much time do they spend looking at each other? And, of course, other question I have to ask: Where are the supernatural mysteries?
Lost: White Rabbit (2004)
More Human, Less Lost
During this 5 chapters Lost has demonstrated a lot of things. It can be intense (just watch the pilot), a little bit terrifying, and then now, with this fantastic Jack story, it's more human, dropping out the supernatural vibe of the other episodes.
However, this isn't perfect, as I feel that it's only about Jack's past. No mysteries on the island, and the other plot with the running-out-of-water problem is very short and approaches to the ridicoulousness.
Breaking Bad: Sunset (2010)
Best Episode So Far!
While watching Season 1 and 2 (with some exceptions), I thought Breaking Bad was boring. But now, having watched "Sunset", it is impossible to say that.
This episode was very intense, I couldn't stop watching it. The scene in the junkyard was truly amazing and shocking, it remembered me of "Money Heist" in every aspect: intense, the call to Hank when he's extremely near to discover Walter...
Not only that - even Skyler (a character which I personally don't like) had better scenes than usual.
This is what I expect of Breaking Bad - I can't wait to see what happens next!
