Do Over (2002–2003)
10/10
Not too shabby!
20 September 2002
I watched this the other night, expecting it to suck. I was wrong. I actually found it relatively amusing. Everyone wants to go back and change their life and this 34-year old man, Joel, gets blasted back to be about 15, and he gets to relive his life. It's worth the watch as you remember the time that parachute pants, Devo and even Wham! were still in.

Hemo the Magnificent (1957 TV Movie)
Educational, but definitely dated.
15 March 2002
I watched it today in biology, and it was very educational. The animations and footage of the human body was very good, but the rest of it was dated. It also seems to appeal to a younger audience, of maybe 5th and 6th graders as opposed to Sophomores. I guess that it's just one of those things that they never bother to update, even with any developments in science since '56... I guess if you want to learn something the easy way, then watch the film...

Jackass (2000–2007)
Not Bad, Not the Best
28 August 2001
Jackass, no matter what you say, isn't very original. It's somewhat of a ripoff of MTV's last stunt project, 'Buzzkill'. There are times when it gets really stupid, such as swimming in sh*t, and doing the Leech Beard, but there are things that are funny, such as the Eggnog spewing, the Fat F*cks, and the skateboarding mistakes. JAckass will probably not last very long, especially since stupid kids can't understand that Johnny Knoxville, Wee Man, Bam Margera, and the rest are all professionals, even though they claim not to be. They take many precautions, and undoubtedly have a team of paramedics waiting. You can have your own opinions of MTV's Jackass, but please don't blame it for some idiot kid, who's ignored the warnings they post 5-10 times per show, and therefore maiming himself because he can't tell fake from reality.

NewsRadio (1995–1999)
Not Too Shabby!
17 August 2001
I enjoy this television show immensely. I am a big fan of Andy Dick, and an even bigger fan of the late Phil Hartman. It is a typical 90's sitcom, and it oddly reminds me of the reruns of WKRP in Cincinnati (sp?). Dick is very lovable in this, and Hartman adds the right touch of crudeness to the workplace humor genre. As andy Dick put it, "Newsradio died with Phil Hartman." Jon Lovitz is a great comedian, but he couldn't live up to Hartman.

That '70s Show (1998–2006)
This show rocks!
2 July 2001
This show is awesome. This gives me a glimpse into a decade that i never even saw. Bellbottoms, Lava Lamps, Led Zeppelin concerts... Things that have gone, and yet again come back to appeal to the new generations. This show is just like American life in any decade, really. You have your basic teen friends here... You have the smart ass of the group whom has no lovelife, so is forced to just hang out continually. Then you have your idiot hunky jock, whom loves his girlfriend, but just can't help checking out other chicks... Then there's the popular girl, who doesn't listen to your kind of music, but you hang out with her anyway. Then there's the shy friend, and the girl he dates whom is just the opposite. And who could forget the foreign exchange student from... wherever the hell he's from. It is so much like life then and now. Say, does anyone else remember the Foto-Huts, like my parents do?
