Locke (2013)

Omg got to be by far thee most boring "films" I have ever seen. It says in the trivia " According to producer Guy Heely, Tom Hardy was the only actor Steven Knight wanted to star in Locke, because he is the only actor who could sustain the audience's interest while driving in a car for 80 minutes." Nope. It didn't. Big fan of Tom but this sucked.

It was terrible, budget must have been a tenner surely, I don't understand why this sort of film would appeal to anyone unless you're actually not watching it and just listening to it maybe, but come on it was aweful. The 5 stars and above ?!? Were you watching the same thing I was, sorry Tom it's a big no from me.

Seed (2006)

Absolutely disgusting.

Should be banned. I got as far as the first few minutes where they show recorded live footage of severe animal cruelty taken by Peta. There is a warning before the movie but who reads those.

It basically starts showing a still alive and freshly skinned animal probably a dog dying. Then it goes to another large dog being skinned alive starting at the rear leg, when the animal cries it is struck across the head by the person skinning the animal and then he continues by standing on its neck whilst skinning it.

The animal is in excruciating pain and is probably the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my life. I can't see why you would want to start film showing this cruelty. Yes it happens but I don't want to come across something like this whilst searching for a movie to watch. It should be banned from Prime at least.

Absolutely disgusting making a film and using this kind of footage just to get the film noticed or whatever other reason they had in putting it at the start. Really not impressed with Amazon and will not watch anything like this.

Alone (2015– )

Gets annoying

Well it started well, by the time you get to season 8, the "whooshing" noises from the show just get really annoying. Goes past being an unnecessary sound effect into the realms of cringe.

There's just absolutely no need for it. Doesn't add anything up the show, doesn't build up the anticipation for the even they're going to show it's just annoying. Struggling to get through season 8 because of it and think I'll leave the show there because I can't bare to go through another season with that annoying whooshing sound effect.

Absolutely kills it. Breaks throughout it were terrible so I downloaded it on sky and there's no ads in it but the whooshing is enough to loose interest in it.

The Black Book (2021)

Absolutely dreadful

One of, if not thee worst film I've ever seen. The acting omg the acting is absolutely aweful, where did they find the people they cast ?!? There's no atmosphere through the film, saying that I gave up 29minutes in because it was so bad, it feels empty and poorly done.

The idea was there for sure but the execution of it was dreadful. Who's to blame? The writer, director, producer o don't know but who ever watched this back before they release it as a film must have just left school and not actually watched any kind of suspense horror movies.

I've watched some aweful B horror movies but at least they tried, this though and it's says 2021 on it?!? There's no excuse for not trying. If they ran out of budget I'd have happily given them a tenner to double their budget.

Avoid at all costs it's terrible.

Under the Dome (2013–2015)

Gets a bit boring.

It's good but the BigJim thing gets a bit boring throughout. He's basically an insane power hungry bully and they have more than one opportunity where it's justified to take him out but they just don't.

This wouldn't happen in a mob mentality, they'd take him out and half there problems would be solved. He's just always there and it gets boring. It's one person, making up his own rules as he goes along and people seem to flip on and off him as easy as a light switch.

Overall it's a good show to watch, maybe doesn't need three seasons but let's drag it out eh. Haven't read the book by Stephen king but may do as you won't see the characters that play the certain roles that are annoying and just enjoy the storyline.

Die Hart (2020– )

Enjoyable to watch

Wasn't sure at the start but just to see the star lineup in it made me watch it and I'm glad I did. Miss Emmanuel and Mr Travolta to name a couple has got to make a film worth watching.

It was a change from the norm for sure, you expected one thing and another happened, nice plot twist and I reckon an original idea, enjoyable to watch. The leads didn't let you down and the action and spfx were great.

Shot in nice location and it was believable in what they were doing. I enjoyed it and it's something that I would watch again. Had it on whilst working but ended up not working and actually watching it fully :-)

Django Unchained (2012)

Thoroughly enjoyable

Absolutely loved this. First you can tell it's a Tarantino and Savini movie by the effects, they were awesome. The story was good and it kept you guessing what was going to happen next.

Had a lot of big faces in it and no expense spared on the effects or costumes. Landscape and shooting locations were lovely and it really took you back to what was a messed up time in history treating people unfairly. You really felt for the main characters and the ending without saying too much was heart warming and well written.

Tarantino cameo appearance of course like all his films which was nice and Mr Jackson played his nasty part really well, really made you hood he'd get it in the end.

Thoroughly enjoyed the film, score was great and fitted throughout and there was just enough balance of action and story to keep you riveted.

After Life (2019–2022)

An emotional rollercoaster for sure.

Well first off why does Ricky keep casting Colin Hoult in things like a Derek and this?!? Absolutely spoils it and like as in Derek there's no point to his character except totally irritating, he's rude, terrible actor and the character isn't needed.

On the whole, it's not that bad, has its ups and downs, really heavy on the death of his wife, keeps it going throughout the whole thing..., yes we get it but ffs get on with it. Does draw on a bit leading nowhere..... but I watched it for the one liners from Gervais. It needed to move faster than it does because in places it is literally like a bowl of stagnant dog water.

But, the last episode was nice. It tied it all together and left you appreciating what you've got. I cried.

Senior Year (2022)

Could only manage half way through, absolute trash. Omg she ain't no teenager.... Just didn't work. Started out ok but it just got worse and worse. I like miss Wilson but not in this, it almost felt desperate trying to be funny. But it wasn't.

Bone Breaker (2020)

OMG, I'd say the budget was a tenner and the acting was worth the same.

The bloke in it deserved what he got, two physically fit women and one bloke just took it. Literally could have walked over to the psycho and smacked her in the face with his tripod and that would have been that.

Absolutely pointless. Couldn't watch till the end, really made me shout at the screen.

Watched it for Miss Night cuz she's propa tasty ;-) but tbh the film was crap. Think the budget was like a tenner and that was spent in red jam.

Hellraiser: Judgment (2018 Video)

Utter Garbage.

Well Tunnicliffe you ruined it. As a Hellraiser film it just wasn't. More like an episode from Supernatural.

Been a fan of Hellraiser since the 80's, watched them go down after number three until they were unbearably bad. A friend of mine worked on the effects of Hellbound Hellraiser II & 3. The first three films were awesome but then they just lost it. This Hellraiser. Judgement should have just been an Independant film and not one trying to jump on the shirt tails of Hellraiser, it didn't loose it... it just didn't have it to start with.

It was more comical than gory, when will they learn to leave films and stop trying to make rubbish ones off the back of brilliant ones.

Shane I bought it for £4.99, should have just rented it. Won't be watching it again that's for sure.

The Girl Next Door (2007)

Slow and cruel.

Absolutely no need for the first or last bit. Should have just been about the middle bit, didn't need to include the older bloke telling the story. Pointless

Really cruel and torture of a child. Slow, very slow throughout then cruel bits. Didn't really like it, makes you feel uncomfortable.

Utopia (2020)

Got to the end of episode two and had to either stop watching or put my head down the toilet and flush.

Painfully slow and boring. Don't bother watching unless you really have nothing else in your life to do or watch. Even then I wouldn't watch it.

Away (2020)

Omg I think it was filmed in real time as it was honestly that slow. Barely anything ever happened, lot of Russian and oriental talking so English subs flashed up.

It was boring and just dragged on and on and on. Pretty painful to watch in some places, Empty empty empty. They could have done it in an hour and half and spared everyone the pain.

Wouldn't recommend it.

Rubbish. Over the top and empty until about 10 mins to go.

Couldn't watch it till the end, didn't like the way they killed the first person. Wasn't gruesome or anything, just didn't like it.

Absolutely love National Lampoons films, this rewrite or whatever it was, was terrible. Cringy in some places and just bloody aweful in others.

Just don't do it. Really had trouble watching this, and even the appearance of Chevy chase was awefull.

OMG, and the nominee for worst actress ever goes to Sydney Sweeny. Dull doesn't even describe her acting non-abilities, absolutely awefull, no personality, no onscreen presence and no emotion in her voice.
