I love this light hearted comedy. Marlo Thomas is so sweet. Her wardrobe was very hip! She wore the coolest clothes. The show had many guest stars like her dad Danny Thomas, Ethel Merman, Milton Berle,and Sid Caesar. Ted Bessell was the perfect choice to play Ann Marie's boyfriend. They had a wonderful chemistry on screen and remained close friends till his death in 1997. Season 1 & 2 are available on DVD now. So go and buy them and enjoy! The show took our minds off of what was really going on in the world. The Vietnam war was raging, the civil rights movement was tearing the nation apart, and Dr. Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy were murdered during the shows run from 1966-1971.

I felt the story line portrayed the mental effects of the war. All the actors in this movie gave their best performances. Eddie Albert was very convincing in his role not to mention Bobby Darin. Tony Curtis put a new twist on playing a hospital orderly with compassion and laughter. Gregory Peck And Angie Dickinson poured their hearts out on screen. This is a very believable movie about what soldiers have to cope with inside their minds. B=Larry Storch was a fun and caring hospital orderly trying to help each and every patient. He is a very talented actor that can play serious and humorous roles with great ease on the screen.

Most made for TV movies are quite boring but this one is different. It had my full attention throughout the whole movie. I cried at the end. Joe Penny was excellent and so was Brittney Murphy. It was very touching when she was talking to her son while she was in heaven looking down at him. The movie was well written and could easy pass for a true story. I also like Terri Garr's performance also. This story line is so real. I can easily see young girls falling in love with an older man, especially the allure of being with a police officer. I would watch this movie again and still be captivated. Pleae watch this movie if you see it on TV!
