Black Holler (2017)
A silly fun time
If you're looking for a fun, silly movie that will take you back to the good old days of Troll 2, Leprechaun and Student Bodies, you'll have a good time with this one. The soundtrack and "Brett" alone are with some stars. Gotta respect a flick that definitely doesn't have a budget and has fun with that fact. A good watch for 80s horror fans with a sense of humor.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)
Camp can change lives!
There's a reason why people are still doing the time warp after all these decades. This movie is so fun, silly, sexy and oddly inspiring. I'll never forget the 1st time I watched it and the 1st time I saw it live. It's such a great theatrical experience! And Tim Curry is amazing!!!!! Unparalleled IMO.
Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
My God, this movie is fun!
It has everything you could want in a horror movie. It just doesn't have Michael Myers, which is kind of hilarious. The scene with the kid watching TV with the mask on is so good , and I love the little jingle "8 more days til Halloween, Halloween, Halloween..." This is a true cult classic!
Halloween (2018)
Scary, great slasher!
Another Halloween movie? Yes, and it's one of the best! Great cast, great kills, great story! Shoutout to Danny McBride and his team for not only doing justice to the original but also lifting it up! The original changed the game, but this one was probably the best slasher of 2018.
Get Out (2017)
Movie of the Decade
I just love this movie so much! It's smart, fun, funny and scary. People who hate horror movies liked it. People who love horror movies thought it resurrected the genre.I'm shocked at the bad reviews. People are crazy. I was so happy for Jordan Peele when he won the Academy Award for Best Screenplay! I'm just glad his unique voice is reaching mainstream audiences. Can't wait to see what comes next!
The Ranger (2018)
Punk slasher, yes, please!
This movie is a really fun watch! I was scared. I had fun. It surprised me, left and right. Love a good indie horror movie that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Friday the 13th (1980)
This one holds up!
There's a reason this movie's considered a classic and there have been SO many sequels. It friggin' holds up! I watch it every year!
Child's Play (2019)
Give it a shot!
I'm a fan of the original Child's Play movie, and I love Bride and Seed of Chucky, so I wasn't sure about this one. But I was pleasantly surprised! I love the modern spin on the story and the cast and death scenes rocked!
I'm deducting 1 star for Chucky's makeover because I really didn't like it. Otherwise, I totally recommend this one!
Wet Hot American Summer (2001)
Cult comedy classic!
So many great cast members, funny lines and classic gags! I could watch Paul Rudd pick up that tray over and over again. This is a must watch for comedy fans!
