Toy Story That Time Forgot (2014)
Highly satisfying. Creative. Packed with meaning and good feelings.
A pleasure to watch. What was lacking for me in Toy Story of Terror was by all means in this one. It is short but packed with meaning. Displaying the tragedy of neglected toys in the face of a 'cool' video game, it continues the theme of the two Toy Story movies in an incredibly dramatic way: the magical imagination that blossoms with toys.
The appreciation that the toys have for their owner is heightened in a highly creative way. Delightful depth and charm is infused in new characters. Laugh-out-loud lines were peppered throughout. Every cent spent on this short film was completely worth it. Will watch over and over again.
Toy Story of Terror! (2013)
Disappointing
For me, a short film needs a lot of depth and meaning packed into it to be appreciated. Sadly, however, I didn't see that in this one. Always enjoyable to see these toys in action (and Bonnie's loving care for them), but I was left a little dissatisfied and disappointed at the end.
Toy Story 3 (2010)
Heart-melting. Wonderful. One of my Favorite Movies.
The best Toy Story movie so far.
In a heartwarming and even heart-melting way, it brings out the depth of the characters and their commitment to one another in a whole new level.
I was gripped in suspense and fear (not typical for a kids movie) the entire time, and I was brought to tears at the end. The magical imagination that flourishes through toys is beautifully brought out.
This movie impacted me in a very deep way. It takes its place as one of my all time favorites.
