Grown·ish (2018)
Privilege kids, stupid problems
Playing only in the surface with interesting topics. 90% of the show is just stupid teenager sex and drugs, overrated college situations and the life of a very privileged kid with all the stereotypes of the "gringo"
Very boring repeated drama over and over the same situation. Zoey leaves one guy, then sleeps with the other, she is confused, and the cycle repeats without stop. Zoey is a very boring character and even worst Luca. Even the pregnancy portrayed there is so absurd.
Don't waste your time. Believe, me your college days were way more interesting than this show. It is just a waste of time.
The Clearing (2023)
Slow and tiring.
"The Clearing" began with the promise of an intriguing premise and an air of mystery that piqued my interest. However, as the series unfolded, it became increasingly apparent that it was trapped in a dense thicket of plot holes and absurd situations, leaving me bewildered and unsatisfied.
One of the most glaring issues with "The Clearing" was its pacing-or rather, its lack thereof. Each episode felt like a tedious journey through a murky forest of suspense, with very little actual progress in the story. While suspense can be a valuable element in storytelling, it should serve to enhance the narrative, not drown it in stagnation. Sadly, "The Clearing" leaned heavily on suspense to the detriment of meaningful plot advancement.
Adding to the frustration were the numerous plot holes that riddled the storyline. The narrative appeared to be built on a foundation of loose threads and unresolved questions, leading to confusion rather than curiosity. As the series meandered along, these holes in the plot only seemed to grow wider, leaving viewers with more questions than answers by the end.
Sharper (2023)
You know how will finish with only the trailer.
Very boring movie.
The script was never checked? It is as flat and boring as it can be.
Scam after scam after scam. It is the most predictable movie ever. And the worst scam it's to take the time to watch it.
The offices, buildings and streets look nice. But the story is so empty. The mistakes of the characters are so stupid, unnatural and so absurd. So flat and empty written.
It feels like the writers needed to write characters that could be scam so that their simple scams could be done.
Very unsatisfying film. A huge disappointment when you compare with what is promised. Too slick for its own good.
Willow (2022)
The idea is not that bad but
Some of the main actors (Ellie Bamber and Dempsey Bryk) are very very bad. Their facial expressions are weird and bland. I think the focus on those two actor make the show weak and boring.
The graphics and the comedy are ok.
Toni revolori, Warwick Davis and Erin Kellyman are great and are the only thing that saved the show.
Some of the scenes are over the top. Too close to lord of the rings.
Fighting scenes are moderately exciting. And the quest in general is not that interesting.
I watched all with the hope of being surprised. But until the end the monologues of Ellie bamber bored me so much that I was skipping them.
Feel Good: Episode #2.3 (2021)
The "new" Binky is horrible bad.
Binky is a horrible character we know, she is written to be like that.
But the new actress is such a bad actress that made this episode unbearable.
The Old Guard (2020)
Story ok. Horrible soundtrack
Story is ok.
But the movie is full of clichés. From the way to portrait foreigner (non American or European) countries until the way to portrait the "crazy" villain.
It was some entertainment. But I completely got tired of watching it because of the horrible soundtrack, how come that no one in the production said anything about this horrible music?
Litigante (2019)
Completely boring.
There is not story.
Yeah you will see a "normal" life in Bogotá.
The movie it's absolutely boring slow. And there are no connections in the events.
*The main actress is terrible bad*. I watched in a festival in Berlin since it was the opening film. Otherwise I wouldn't watch it.
There are much better stories. And much better picture of the life in Colombia.
