great film
Well written and performed. Technically shines through and through. Probably the best experience in recent memory. Its pure art resembles and the emotions they had shelved are insanely exceptional a layered masterpiece. If you like dark thrillers then you shouldn't miss this film. Definitely tops the list of best movies this past year too.
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
I tried to like the film
I love the franchise. However they screwed this film up. If you market the film as a direct sequel, and know that's your key to success i.e. promoting Linda Hamilton.... then why would you not continue the story with John Connor? Yes you kill the character in the first 10 minutes which is a slap in the face to all the fans. You create a mythology and then throw it down the toilet and expect the fans to just accept your rewriting everything they love. They can't even keep Skynet in the mythology and change that ! You'd think they'd learn their lesson after the last fiasco, and they screw this film up too.
Bunnyman Vengeance (2017)
fun film
As a huge horror fan and fan of independent films, I know and appreciate a good horror flick when I see one. There was a lot of heart and soul put into this film, and it shows. The music through out the film gives an unnerving tone and just gets you uneasy. The way it is filmed does make it more realistic and scary. Aside from other reviews on this page, id have to politely disagree, I think all of the actors did superb on acting and everything about the film you can tell a lot of hard work was put in. For an independent film, from a true horror fan such as myself, I give this five stars. Thats what a film is all about, having fun watching it. Not a lot of people know what it is like to make a film.... i.e. the money that gets put into it, the time, the writing, the scripts, location scouting, planning, rehearsal, makeup, etc.... therefore those people cannot appreciate all the effort one put into the film. The film is just a fun watch.
Bunnyman (2011)
the beginning
Every film maker has a beginning and it is often a little rough. Ideas get fleshed out and and talent gets honed through practice. You practice by doing. As an early film, this is a great start. Having a budget of any sort above a few hundred dollars definitely helps in the indie film making business. It allows for better special effects, which this film has. It is an older film so a bit dated (no one has a smart phone) but not so far out there that we can't relate. As a slasher film, it is light on Gore and no nudity, two things you expect. It isn't just a scream fest, there is a story. Slasher films aren't usually the genre I choose to watch and I could find plenty in it to appreciate.
