The Fundamentals of Caring (2016)
Grrrrrrrrreat Movie.
Reluctantly watched because I was contemplating playing bid whist. Wife encouraged me and was I pleased she did.
I really enjoyed and look forward to seeing it again.
Body Count (1998)
Enjoyable
Saw it half way completed in my hotel room in 1999 and searched high and low for the name to watch again from the beginning.
Found another movie with the same name w/ Ice-T starring but turned it off.
Good movie.
Arrival (2016)
B O R I N G....
Watched with great anticipation. Lighting was EXCEPTIONALLY DARK, I couldn't understand why.
I grew weary watching.
Another Dawn (1937)
A hidden treasure love story
I watched this movie solely because Errol Flynn was in it. My all time favorite. However I was serendipitously introduced to Kay Francis, one of Hollywood's great female stars. She has since become one of my most adored actresses from a bygone era of great female actresses. Why movie land has not highlighted this movie and these two great film stars together is a mystery to me. Further, it would have been refreshing to see them together on other projects. This movie tugged at my heart as I watched it very late one night. My teenage children thought it was mushy. They were probably on target since they don't get a chance to see REAL acting like this, but rather a lot of sex scenes and nudity. To all E.F. or K.F. aficionado's, rent it, copy it, see it. You'll be glad you did.
The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938)
One of the 10 best all time movies
For fans of Errol Flynn, this classic is a MUST see. He is at his acting best. Hollywood would do well to duplicate the quality that was ever present in movies 64 years ago. And the charming Olivia DeHavilland and the rest of the supporting cast are spectacular.
