There are boring movies and then there are painfully boring movies. But this one tops even that - it is horribly boring.

Bad script, bad acting, horrible directing, outright stupid.

Everything about this movie is so artificial, plain and dull. Just don't waste your time like I did watching it.

A brilliant, touching and skilfully realised documentary about the demise of Balkan villages in "modern times". Sad, emotional portrayal of long forgotten tragic characters - Balkan male looking to find a girl who wants to live in village.

Must watch.

Emotional, but lacking depth, oversimplified and.constantly striking the same note. From time to time feels like amateur work. Could and should be 30-40 mins shorter.

Still, I would recommend it.

I really don't understand how this movie got so many Oscar nominations. Disjointed, unfocused story with no conclusion.

If you want to watch a tv show where all the characters are grumpy all the time, this is the show for you.

It takes one great mockumentary to make a truly remarkable hommage to the idea of Yugoslavia. Witty, entertaining and clever. It's a must, especially if you are into balkans or former Yugoslavia.

After a pretty solid first film by this director, this one came as a bad, bad surprise.

Everything about this movie is so sloppy and dull: directing, camerawork, script, costumes, just everything, that I'm no more sure if the success of the first film was an accident, a pure luck or what.

You can easily skip it.

I liked it as there is some feeling of authenticity of Balkan vibe and some really good dialogue.

This movie has a cult status in former Yugoslavia for no reason whatsoever. It's just one of many unsuccessful movies done by so-called Prague school directors ( Paskaljevic, Grlic, Karanovic) that were out of touch with modern cinema and the world itself.

The simple family quarrel movie played by renowned actors from the region has its nice moments, but fails to develop into something really interesting. The main limitation of the movie is fact that it plays against the historical backdrop, eg the breakup of former Yugoslavia. For everyone not familiar with the subject and historical facts movie will probably prove hard to understand. Still, it plays smoothly and is entertaining from time to time. The execution is a bit boring, and the main problem is the ending that's imo hollow, with no point.

Really interesting debut from young Croatian female director Hana Jusic.

Well played, unpretentious ( one of rare example of ex Yu films that has this quality - unpretentious ), and from time to time fun.

I did not like the movie. Dull, boring and and terrible acting.

I know ppl that were like - oh, you gotta see it, great acting and so on. But, in truth, you gotta see it to know what's a really, really terrible acting.

Naive story with good intention but lousy and uninspired execution.

Skip it.

Another contrived, plain effort by Mr. Golubovic. The movie itself feels like someone forced the director to make it. There is no sign of a personal touch, or why this movie should have been done. Skip it, seriously!

Hope a new film by the same director will be good one.

All in all, IMO, it's just a really bad Croatian movie set in Bosnia. Lousy artificial dialogues, bad acting, confusing message of the film - I gave it a 2.

Funny trivia, almost all the other reviews are most probably written by director itself ( usually many profiles with only one review uncover that pathetic tactics).
