Seduced and Abandoned (2013)
Interesting
-Spoiler alert- Not sure how exactly to feel about this one. There is no script for these investors to read and they expect them to hand over millions of dollars for a remake of a classic movie that I felt doesn't need to be remade. I have to admit I enjoyed Marty and Gosling's look on Hollywood. I felt Coppola had a lot to get off his chest. Felt like he had more movie making in him, but couldn't find the funds. It makes one wonder how the hell Lucas found money to fund Star Wars. The bottom line of the documentary is that the passion of acting and directing are compromised by investors that just want a return for their investment. I would recommend anyone who is a fan of cinema to check this out. Alec Baldwin and James Toback work good together. Great last scene! Cheers!

Road to Perdition (2002)
How can you be dissapointed??
I recommend this movie because of it's directing, score, cinematography, the acting isn't bad, and what I believe is one of the best edited movies I have seen in a long time. The story has been told before, granted, but it's easy to look past the time and again plot. When I left the movie theatre I knew my money was well spent. All and all I give this movie a 8.6 out of 10.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
a comment worth viewing
I have read the books and absolutely adore them. Was the movie satisfying??? Well, I don't know how hard it would be to make some scenes as they are in the book. I know how much Jackson loves the books so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I will not focus on what should of happened, but what happened. Elijah Woods as Frodo Baggins: I've always been fond of Elijah's movies. I was a little skeptical at first, but when given the chance to show his skills he delivers. Ian McKellen as Gandalf the Grey: Top notch, who else can deliver such a touching performance as a wise wizard then Ian. Enough said. Viggo Mortensen as Strider/Aragorn: This is the performance that will catapult Viggo's career. WOW! What a king he will make. Everyone else shows how weak they are when confronted with the ring. Frodo offers it to him and he closes his hand and pulls it towards Frodo's heart as if it didn't even phase him. Viggo was in my opinion the most memorable character and actor in this movie. He rivals Russel Crowe's character in Gladiator. I believe he saved this movie from being average. Sean Astin as Samwise Gamgee: Good performance and very satisfying. Sean as Sam will come full circle in the Two Towers. Orlando Bloom as Legolas Greenleaf: I am convinced he is an Elf in real life. I don't think their will be anyone out there who will say Orlando's performance wasn't anything but perfection. Sean Bean as Boromir: He is in some sense a bad guy and I'm upset that we realized this so strongly in Rivendale. He ended up realizing his errors by contesting for the ring. I admire his performance and he will be missed. Liv Tyler as Arwen Undomiel: So she had too many lines and too many scenes for Arwen. Don't blame her. She did OK and I'm not upset with her role, but that the writers didn't stick true to the book. I really do feel a strong bond between Aragorn and Arwen in the movie and can't wait until their love brings tears to fans when they finally unite. I think it's great that Aragorn speaks Elvish to her. I also enjoyed how well Aragorn spoke Elvish and damn I can't say enough about viggo Mortensen. Cate Blanchett as Galadriel: A solid performance. Could of been better and more magical however. Of course they should of showed more of her and her gift givings to the Fellowship. So I won't blame her for it. I like Cate Blanchett and she did just fine, but I would of enjoyed her more if she wasn't so dark and hard. Gollum: Good. Can't complain at all. All in all I will say that the movie is nothing short of an experience!!
The Hollywood Knights (1980)
very funny
I've seen this movie quite a few times and I must say this is one funny, heart-felt movie. I absolutely loved the two idiotic cops. The fat one was such an outragous moron. I love when he says, "get this over priced sewing machine out of here". He's referring to a car and for some dumb reason I laugh my butt off. If you liked American Grafitti, then this must be a must see. I actually think it's funnier! 8 out of 10!
Caddyshack (1980)
The funniest movie of all time
I can't say enough about this movie. I have seen it well over 25 times and I'm still amazed how non-stop the jokes and hi-jinks come rolling off the screen. Possibly the funniest comedy to ever be captured on film. Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Ted Knight and Rodney Dangerfield are unforgettable. Ted Knight is soooo good as Judge Smells. Too bad he left us sooner then expected, but his performance as a snobby member of Bushwood Country Club (he acts like he owns it) does such a great and believable job that I insist that he was the actor that took this comedy to that level that other films try to go. Harold Ramis did a fine job directing and nowadays you can't get the feel that Caddyshack has. A squirrel that sounds like a dolphin??? What were they smoking? 11 out of 10!
MASH (1970)
This movie was made like no other
The directing and the way all the actors said their lines is quite remarkable. It's not what they say it's how they deliver the lines. If you found this movie to be awful, then maybe it's possible you don't understand true humor or don't understand how hard it is to capture it on film with the right timing. Please give this movie a chance and realize what you are watching will probably never be duplicated again. It's a perfect 10!
