Ore dake Level Up na Ken: If I Had One More Chance (2024)
THEY DID THIS SO MUCH JUSTICE
Oh man. Okay, I didn't review Episode 1, mainly because it felt 'unfinished.' I thought, 'Okay, this is coming from me who's read the manhwa.' The animation was stellar, but the episode left a lot to be desired.
However, this episode is where the anime really excels. It was beautiful, haunting, and emotional. (And, just to fanboy here, A-1 Pictures really did a fantastic job encapsulating the sheer amount of fear and dread when the 'god' smiled at our protagonists. Utterly irrelevant, but I just had to.)
Hiroyuki Sawano is a genius as always. The soundtrack, particularly at the end of the episode at the altar, elevates the scene tremendously, making it all the more tragic.
The first episode had me very skeptical, but now we're cooking with gas. Cannot wait for next week's episode.
Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Chapters: Special 2 (2023)
Way Beyond my Expectations
The manga readers kept hyping up this ending for failure, meanwhile I'm trying to see why they hated it. This ending was pure perfect, some of the best hours of my life.
I started watching Attack on Titan in 2020. I had finished all three seasons in under a week; never before was I so captivated by any anime. It took so many risks and they all payex off, and I'm glad that in the end, it was all worth it.
Going along with this show has been some of the best years of my life. I lauged, I cried, I got depressed, lmao.
I'd give this ending a 9.8; it truly delivered. Goodbye Attack on Titan. Thak you WIT and MAPPA studios and all the talented artists involved. And thank you especially Isayama, for gracing us with this masterpiece.
Dexter: Born Free (2006)
Best Episode of the Show by a far
This is by far the greatest episode of the entire show, Dexter if faced with a great Moral Dilema of choosing between his brother or his sister's life. Ultimately he chooses Debra, I feel yhis is an aspect the later seasons forgot by having Dexter just conveniently have his problems go away instead of him making the hard choices for himself. This is an aspect that's never at all present in season 1 which is why it's perfect.
Examples of Dexter being let off.
Lila killing Doakes
Debra killing LaGuerta
Dexter killing Lundy and Quinn not questioning Dexter
This episode needs to be a 9.8 please imdb.
