Whilst I agree the storyline is not the deepest you will find out there, I feel this one is more for the silly and funny lines for big adults. Just something to laugh at and not take too serious. I would recommend others to give this ago but just taper your expectations. But 5.6 is insulting, this is about a 6.2 rating.

I have nothing but love for Kevin Hart, but realistically this is what happens when you do run an empire and you trying to do everything. You simply can't give everything 100%. This is 20% of his energy and quality and another film in the last few that shows the lack and effort. The story is an extreme stretch once or gets further into it. The acting is very poor and surprisingly John travolta is the weakest one. Clearly showing if you take long breaks from your craft it does take it toll. Basically Amazon wanted a film entice people and the through alot of money at Kevin and his brand to ensure it gets that "Kevin harts in it, surely it's decent". But a very poor film overall. I would rather Kevin go away for a few years with the films and come back and bring back something he was able to really put his effort in. Cannot recommend it, tje only positive is that they kept it under 1hr 30.

As the title states for the first hour and abit this film is very decent, has you joked to know where you TS going and gets fairly eerie through out. But then after this point it just goes up very rushed and as if it was filmed by college students. If you have seen the film "X" with Kid Cudi, then you will get what I mean. All in all I would say to anyone to give it a watch as the first part is good enough for any type of suspense film but then just be prepared for it to fall away quickly. If you go in with that in mind you won't be too disappointed in it. Really this film is about a 5.5 out of 10.

This was truly an amazing piece of TV. Initially the first few episodes are alittle slow, but then the direction and filming of it takes a great turn. The main focal actors deserve awards for their show and what they brought to it. Shows like this always.make me feel for how it must be for the families to relive this, and most are surely angry when it's for TV viewing. I fully understand that but I think these shows do cast light on the terrible things that happened before our time and allow us to praise and show love for the deceased. I honestly hope the families move on and have been able to have great.lives after this.

So let's be real, ever since the.modern day Halloween have been release 2016 upwards,.they have been all alittle poor, but keep getting.made due to the cult following. This film wasn't the worse in the bunch and had an interesting take, but wow did they rush through some things and then made it anti climatic, so hey just stick with what you know. I am never sure whether the newer films are trying to create that old school B list scary movie feel and frustration, where the person trips in the woods, or are the scenes just cheese and bad. Either way if in your.mid 30s and older you stick around purely for nostalgia, but they aren't great films anymore and I think we all deep down accept that going in.

I have been a fan of the thor films, me and my fiance in our early 30s have stayed up to date. But this just lost it way. It has that feeling of your really old dad who is trying to "stay hip" and just over does.all the cliche cool and funny things. Not a great watch at all and unfortunately just cannot recommend it. All the dialog and jokes are just overdone, as thought up by a 15 year old (and not a popular one at that). They took all the serious element out of it that you come to expect.from the previous movies and just decided to appeal to the extremely child young market. I guess that's where the money is.

With these types of single location stranded films it is very easy to get it wrong and with them all you need to accept a certain amount of 'holes' in The story but honestly this was a pretty strong watch, have it at a6 but is more a 6.3 rating. It offers quite alot for what you will be expecting. Really is a pretty good film when you see the limitations it has to work with, would recommend anyone to watch at cinema and.if you have a fear.of heights it will actually hit you even more than the other viewers.

I had a really low expectation of this since films and remakes have been so poor and then factor it's set in the woods where main weapons would be wood based, I honestly thought it was going to be poor, but I persisted due to watching predator since it started. They did very well, film not to long 1h 30m (thank the lord). CGI was ver good and the fight scenes were very impactful...it went back to basics and became just a solid Friday night action movie.

Would recommend.

So if you watch the trailer you feel as if your be in for a good pretty funny film, but it just does not deliver. It's another Kevin Hart film with the added laziness, which I assume from him trying to do it all, movies, stand up, TV presenting and running production companies. As they say you can't give yourself to multiple things 100%. Maybe next movie ay.

I stumbled across this as I was watching a meme compilation of a guy who "will do anything for his daughter" on Facebook. I was so hooked by the clips I found out it was Mr inbetween, honestly a hidden gem. I perfect blend of action, comedy mixed.in with real world issues that get you contemplating. DONT HESITATE, JUST WATCH! You won't be sorry.

It's not quite "so bad it's.good" but so bad it's alright. You have to see the film for what it has to work with, small budget, newer actors and limited editing resources (you would assume). Bearing that in mind they have done pretty well with what they had, some acting is abit cheesy at times. But they keep it at a fair 1h 30m. You mentally judge this becuase your used to seeing blockbuster level work, but factor in "you got to start somewhere" it's an ok watchable film.

Simply this is a hidden gem. A great movie for a Friday night with some popcorn, on of the best I've watched during covid and it probably had KY least expectation... TRUST ME A. MUST WATCH.

Me and my wife have finished the boxset.and watched it as it was aired. This is is a great box set overall, there is the odd filler episode through the whole four seasons but it is brilliant. It does take some watching as the subject topics do require attention to ensure you are not missing anything, so not chit chat through it until the episode is over. But amazing acting from all key players and hope to see them do more.

Being a fan of Michael morbius from my school days I had hope for this being a vampire based film. The overall rating of 5.4 is harsh but it is only a 5.9. The CGI scenes are all pretty good except for the face changes. Storyline is alittle weak. I was expecting a venom level of film.

This was something different, think how "love death and robots' have taken a different look into approaching anime / animation. The episodes are majority great with the odd ok one, bit that is to be expected from something that has to come up with a new story each episode. A great watch give it ago.

A very good show, that if you like Rick and Morty you will like this. Now it's not as good as RM but is a solid placeholder until the likes of that develops further seasons.

This four part show had me and the Mrs gripped. I'm surprised by the lack of reviews for it but honestly everyone should watch this, great story, great musical story telling, great acting from the two mains.

This film s trying to hit that "So bad it's good" feel. Do not watch this if your hoping for a true horror film. This film is paying homage to the old school scream films and cliche film techniques from back in the day, that would see the teenager fall in the woods and phone falls out the pocket. If you go in with that kind set this film is an ok Friday night watch.

UPDATE: SO FIRST OF ALL DONT JUDGE IT BY THE FIRST EPISODE...I did this and thought what is this mess, but the episodes get better and deeper and challenge you, it will provide.for.all tastes. It is now more like love, death and robots. It's a solid 6.5 out of 10

So basically each episode is filmed and illustrated in a different style and has its own Story. Whilst interesting if your a creative type, they should of just made a spin-off and illustrated / styled it off the popular Amazon show "Invincible", then this would have been amazing. In all fairness episode 3 is how they should of made the whole thing. Tried to be too different and all episodes not created equal.

As the titles says, this film is pretty darn ok, not good, but is done very well considering budget etc. If your.running low on movies, and want an ok Friday night b movie, then give this watch. Factually not all films can be As or none of them would be.

Rewatched this movie in 2022 and it is still a decent watch. However, there are a few plot holes which become annoying as you watch the movie. This movie was great for the time and is worth a rewatch for nostalgia. If this was remade today with different actors and a little work on the script, would be an interesting interpretation.

Don't let them use the power of being a fan of the last 20 years of this franchise sucker you in. It is another director taking a top franchise and make it cheap, like the "Saw" film. You will not feel you have watched a good film, so many holes where it could be over in seconds. The only pro incsn give it is it was good for the first 15-20 and they went quite gorey with it.

After reading the synopsis, this film sounded exactly what we were after. Seemed a bit like Gerald's game which we thoroughly enjoyed. Although the story line was fine, I think what ruined this film for us was the acting...at times saying lines which weren't needed, Megan's acting was poor throughout and silly errors / scenes which didn't work. Could have been a really good film with different actors. Was an ok watch but would not recommend to friends.

So the overall rating is about right a 6.5, but could of been about 7.5-8. Did very well overall to say it's new and going to be a new area of franchise I would assume, CGI was very well done and fights scenes were top notch. Downsides went on for too long and annoyingly tried to make it too deep when they could of been abit lazier and it been a better watch. Overall I say give it a watch!
