Percy Jackson and the Olympians: I Become Supreme Lord of the Bathroom (2023)
Ok. Film was better
I have been looking forward to the show, but unfortunately i feel it lacks something compared to the previous film. It sort of repeats what was already in the film but to a lower standard. For instance, the competition to get the flag didn't feel very competitive at all and just focused on a small fight scene with Percy - in all i felt it was changed to make it appeal to a much younger generation, which results in it feeling less dramatic. I did like some of the CGI and the lad who plays Percy acted well - in fact i liked all the acting. It is the depth to the script which feels lacking.
Time will tell - i'll keep watching.
The Wheel of Time: What Was Meant to Be (2023)
Amazing ending to a great season 2
Absolutely loved the second series of this show. I liked the first series, but this just moved on to another level. The finale was brilliant. I just didn't want it to end. I can honestly say i am so looking forward to the next season. I have never read the books, but after this season i am definitely going back to the beginning and read them. I enjoyed watching the characters develop through each episode in their own right, and how they came together to support Rand at the end. The felt the acting was top notch and it would be great to see how the actors / actresses and their characters develop in the next season.
WandaVision: The Series Finale (2021)
Wasn't sure at the start, but loved it by the end!
I watched the 1st episode and thought - what is this series all about? If you watch more of the episodes, it builds. By the end of the series, i was a complete fan and just wanted more. Brilliant!
The Expanse: Gaugamela (2020)
Amazing!
This show just gets better with each episode. There are so many paths it can take. Just frustrating to have to wait for the next episode! Great plot and incredible acting!
Star Trek: Discovery: Scavengers (2020)
Emotional!
I love discovery, but every episode seems so emotional and drawn out. Maybe that's the hook!?
