You know where the movie will go pretty much from the start, which isnt necessarilly bad. Its quite similar to an episode of the x-files in which theyre blending in in a "perfect" comunity but this is a boring, tedious version of that. I liked Lester, he was ok. The rest was a mess.

Thats really it honestly, it was an ok movie.
Eli roth is a good director, i like him quite a bit. This movie does the "book about demon that no one remembers" thrope but like,,,really badly. Its a way way overdone plot point. But other than that, and some comically stupid children in it, it was pretty ok!

The only problems where, well, the ending which takes it way too far and makes it horribly unrealistic. the police where right in the front house, Woody was like 300 pounds and no way he dragged two kids without the parents noticing.
It also prooved bothersome that the, if i recall correctly, 20 year old from next door was so interested in the 15 year old kid. Made the kiss they had kind of uncomfortable to watch.
But overall, the ambience was great and has some very tense moments!

I liked this! Saw it had an average score of 4 and thought it be a bad horror movie to watch before bed, but it was actually really interesting, i should say. It is by no means a horror, but it is just abstract enough so that you want to keep watching. recomended!

This is well, a B class movie. And it feels like one. Its a gore-fest on some moments and very boring on others. Nevertheless, its is WAY better than wishmaster 2. So thats something.

This movie starts very slow, but manages its tones well. The relationship between the characters felt believable and sweet, i quite like this neo-noir drama with jason statham, not the ussual action movie you would expect!

This movie is really good at setting a tone. You feel for the girls involved, and the twist is really good. Wasnt expecting it.
Nevertheless, transphobia and the oh so common thrope of a man with mental problems being portrayed as an animal and aggresive rapist drags this movie down to a 7, when it couldve been an 8.

I did laugh a few times so thats why its not getting 1 star. It isnt offensive or anything like that, i quite like b-class movies, but this one drags on and on and on. I could not believe it was only an hour and a half! It felt like at least 2 hours.
The effects were laughable and the acting was...not good. The people at the power plant were alright i guess, but the rest was not.
Not worth your time.

This is a stupid horror movie, but one you can definitely laugh about. It wasnt boring but could get very cringy.
The acting was sub par at best, the effects werent great but had a very "b-class movie from the 80's" feel to them. Not sure of thats a compliment.
Wouldnt watch again but was alright as a one time thing

Went to see this at the cinema and it was worth every penny, it was great. Very fun, had a great time. Doesnt feel like a fast and the furious movie, and if you think about it too hard it doesnt hold up, but thats part of the fun.

At first i thought the movie looked mediocre but found it quite enjoyable. The characters were fun and entertaining to see on screen, as much as it is a movie for teenagers it had nice tension and a few good laughs.
I was not bored at any point of the movie, its fast paced and easy to understand.

While i wasn't bored, i would not recommend this to anybody.
There isnt much originality and the acting is mediocre at best. Visual effects were good except for a few shots that looked like snapchat filters.
The beggining of the movie drags on way to long, even for an anthology movie.
It wants to be too many things at once, but fails at most of them.
The climax and end were entertaining, if a bit sloppy.
