After We Fell (2021)
Why is everyone normalizing toxic behavior?
If you ever get with a man (or even a woman) like these main character: RUN.
I understand this is hollywoodized but GEEZ. This is ridiculous. Children, acting like children and adults giving excuses for entitled, bad behavior.
These babies shouldn't even be in relationships. Please make movies about proper relationships, not crappy ones. This is not what love looks like, people.
Superman & Lois (2021)
Undecided
I love Superman. My favorite TV series is still Lois and Clark (lame and inaccurate, I know but I love it). I have a hard time accepting this adaptation though it is interesting. I am struggling most with Tyler Hochlein bring a father to teenage sons. HE LOOKS LIKE A TEENAGER HIMSELF. It's a hard thing to wrap my head around. Otherwise, episode 1 was okay so we'll see.
Five More Minutes (2021)
I don't usually cry in hallmark movies but...
So, I saw this trailer and immediately was turned off. I wasn't really a fan of the actors and it didn't seem interesting. One morning, I was feeding my newborn and I just decided to let the W network watch me and this movie happened to be on so I just let it play. Well, I couldn't stop. By the end, when she realizes the young man was her grandfather and realizes how prescious time and all of her life experiences are: I was in tears. It hit home hard-core. My first love didn't work out. We both have different lives and I married a man that was far more suited to me... but my first love taught me so much. Even the pain, the good and the bad, our life experiences teach us so much and life is so lrecious. Well, thanks a lot, Hallmark, for making me ugly cry!
Love Hard (2021)
Cute.
So the movie was cute. Typical storyline but lacked chemistry between the lead characters. I think inwould have enjoyed movies where they starred separately, the two leads just did not jive together as a couple. They were cute but that it, romance didn't seem to be in the air.
To All the Boys: Always and Forever (2021)
Awful.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This movie was worse than your typical high school romance movies. I am a woman in my thirties and am unashamed to say that I like watching these high school rom-coms because it reminds me how much I've grown. I kept watching this movie only because I wanted to finish the series. It was definatly the worst film of the series. Things I am glad I never did in high school: 1) have a high school boyfriend- your brain isn't even equipped to deal with all the actual relationship drama, let alone actual problems. 2) let a boy determine where I want to go to school let alone feel indepted to that boy- the entire plot was her feeling bad that she wasn't going where he was. 3) fall in love in high school- it never lasts, get your crap together and find someone like minded, this movie gives and unrealistic veiw of romance and must have been written by a teenager.
When you have lived a little and experience REAL relationships you understand stuff like this is garbage. It's not cute. It's boarder line controling. And, WHRRE THE HECK ARE THE PARENTS. Geez. 2 hours I will never get back.
Bridgerton (2020)
Good show :)
Overally, I really enjoyed this show. I binged it in like, two days (I have a toddler, otherwise it would have been in one day) and was thoroughly upset when it was done.
Some of the intimate scenes are a little... Intimate (lol), but the plot, characters, acting etc are all really good.
The cast plays really well together and I truly felt as though I was in this.
I would recommend but if you are shy with intimate scenes, beware and have your fast forward ready :p
Younger (2015)
HOW IS THIS REAL?!
Josh is WAY too good for Liza and Liza is literally anpeice of garbage. All the men she is interested in are WAY too good for her. She is so self centered. "I am worthless unless I am 26"? How low is yourself esteem? Honestly, don't be there girl. Don't be so lost that you need to lie to every one. Also, there is no way she passes for 26. None. I am only watching to see what happens to the men and Hilary Duff. Hilary Duff only interests me because per presence reminds me of when she was Lizzie but I am not too impressed with her character on this show.
A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding (2018)
No chemistry
The two main leads have ZERO chemistry. Like, less than zero. It's an immediate turn off. There was less chemistry on this movie than the first one.
Holidate (2020)
So bad...
First off, there is so much unnecessary crude language, "jokes" and situations: it's sad.
Second off, it's a Rom-com that tries to be original by doing the complete opposite. It's pretty basic: boy meet girl, they devise a plan, they fall for each other even though they said not to, girl has hang ups that apparently no one realized until after they jump into bed, she chases after him when she realizes she was wrong and can't live without him and everyone lives happily ever after.
Third off, the actors make zero sense together to me. Emma Roberts looks 12 compared to her leading man. It just doesn't make sense to me. Not a great match.
Fourth off: Kristen Chenoweth is horrible. Crude, rude and completely unnecessary. I am SO unimpressed, it's depressing.
Hindsight (2015)
😶
So, I started watching this show this year (2020), saw it was an other show that ran 1 season but decided to give it a go anyways. Well... That was a bad idea. This show is so stupid. It has a really good base, but went no where. As the episodes progress, it only gets worse.
This show is basically about a lady who doesn't appreciate the life she has, goes back and ruins more.lives: including her own.
