I started watching this 4 part drama with high hopes. However I spent more questioning the plot holes which made no sense. Try as I might, I really couldn't understand how one action from a character lead to another action or conclusion. From the beginning we are lead to believe that the Stanly Tucci character had an innate ability to solve crime but his reasoning was, for me not at all convincing.

All that said on a positive note it was well acted, which you would expect from a cast lead by David Tennant and Stanley Tucci and perhaps that lead me to continue watching this when I might have normally given up.

This is trash telly but there is nothing wrong with that. Along with gritty drama and thought provoking documentaries, there is definitely a place for a programme like this.

It's a little like watching your relatives playing parlour games and about as much fun.

This series is repeating on The BBC. Whilst watchable it is ultimately a bit silly with very little farming to be seen. Ultimately if their efforts were replicated throughout the nation everyone would have starved
