I decided to check this out on Netflix after hearing it was one of the only episodes where the person telling the story actually plays himself in the reenactment. First off, considering this guy is an actor, he does a horrible job. Not only is he completely unbelievable but it's painful to watch how "Hollywood" he tried to make the scenes. Some of the fight scenes are right out of a B-budget action film. At one point he actually says "I'm not in here with you, you're in here with me!". Which is a total rip off from The Watchman. Without giving spoilers he has a few key moments where he could of made the situation better for himself and choose not too for no real reason except he must be an idiot.

Also, just so you have a better understanding, 100 Pakistani Rupees is equal to $1 American dollar. Knowing that conversion will help when he speaks about money he spends, without mentioning that when converted, it's not really that much.

I love watching shows on the Discovery and Science channel. Shows like Brain Games and The Universe. Adam Ruins Everything is incredibly entertaining and informative. It questions irrational social norms while breaking the 4th wall and adding very edgy comedy. As of this review (10-3-2015) only one episode has premiered and it was great! It pointed out how many activities and "good deeds" we perform as a society are really just manipulations from advertisers from our past and have no rational basis. After watching the first episode I already have a different outlook on our culture and what I thought was the proper way to live life. It reminded me of the book "The De-Textbook" which is a great book if you enjoy learning the history behind why we do what we do in an entertaining way.

I really hope this show takes off.

This movie was horrible. It's extremely slow. Usually slow movies like this are building up to at least a jump scare which rarely ever happens. A third into the movie I thought maybe it's going to be one of those deep movies with a metaphorical reference. But no, it was like watching a modern scooby-doo episode where every character is as intelligent as the dog. The ending was extremely dissatisfying. I just left the theater an hour ago and everyone left shaking their heads about how poor the movie was.

The only part I enjoyed about this movie was about 2/3rds in when I farted from eating too much popcorn. I'm pretty sure I gave the people behind me a jump scare which was the only emotional reaction I saw anyone have to this movie in the entire theater.
