Bigfoot: The Conspiracy (2020)
Crap acting
The scenes are shot like something from a computer game. Everything is just so clear and crisp and unreal. Doesn't feel like a real movie. I watched it though for something to do
Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret (2014)
Interesting but also misleading
Worth watching and raises a lot of valid and thought provoking points. If only they didn't have to warp the figures and try to push a vegan agenda throughout, then it would be beneficial. As it is, it will be widely seen as a vegan propoganda production bearing false figures. Some films do more harm tgan good. Most intelligent people can see that meat eating needs to be reduced and if possible replicated by manmade alternatives, but humans are not natural vegans and are not going to be convinced by this movie, with or without the duck slaughter. Manipulative interviewing by asking questions of people who obviously did not have the answers is not uncovering a secret agenda, it is simply promoting your own agenda.
Monsters of Man (2020)
Watchable for tge robots
Too many screamy people when they needed to keep silent, so it gets pathetic at times. It didn't really end and left too many loose ends. The robots and the kid were the best actors, but it was a watchable movie with plenty of action. You would expect a special forces guy to be much more creative and competent though. He was no Rambo or Terminator thats for sure.
Be Real (2006)
Poor mimic of Spitting Image
Seems to be a very amateurish copy of the Spitting Image style of puppetry show. Some bits were slightly amusing but mostly it was poor quality in every way. I did stick with it till the end though.
Anthropocene (2020)
Crap
Didnt make it past 30 minutes then a quick fast forward to check it is all the same. Somebodys attempt at a do-it-yourself movie making project. If you really have nothing better to do like clipping your toenails then give it a watch. Every experience adds something to life.
001LithiumX (2020)
Good idea but depressing
Great idea for a movie but one hour plus of listening to a self pitying manic depressive is very hard to stick to. Very slow at times and hard to stick with it without losing interest, or without getting fed up with the constant whining and misery.
Endgame 2050 (2020)
Basically a vegetarian promotion
Some interesting points made in the film but it is too much built on the promotion of vegetarianism, which means the main message will be ignored. Instead of promoting sensible change as is happening with lab grown meat products, they simply promote total vegetarianism. Plastics should be banned of course and population growth needs to be addressed. Renewable energy is coming along rapidly but there is only one real message in this film and it should be labelled as such.
The Coming (2020)
Takes 7 minutes to begin
It was 7 minutes before they stopped quoting the bible which was difficult to hear as the music was too loud. Then the Action began and the graphics were poor. They started talking again and the acting was poor so at 9 minutes i turned it off. Looks home.made. 3 is probably generous.
Dunkirk (2017)
Disappointing
Where are the hundreds of rescue vessels or the hundreds of thousands of troops? I do not think thatvthe film was anything like the real Dunkirk and must be a new 'woke' version of the event.
G-Loc (2020)
6 for effort
A little overdramatic at times and the lead star sounded Australian occassionally. Special effects were limited but ok with the acting fine. A watchable movie but obviously not a blockbuster. Family movie.
The Runners (2020)
Too much silliness
Ridiculous behavior by the supposed hero ruins the movie. The plot could be good and the actors not too bad but the movie was just not well made and stupid at times
Battle Scars (2020)
Depressing
Sad movie which is depressing throughout. A tale of PTSD that went untreated. A war with no just cause has no heroes and those who fight it are quickly forgotten
True North (2020)
True or propaganda?
Interesting story but hard to tell if it is really based on the true situation there, or a western propaganda film. Worth watching though.
Jim Gaffigan: The Pale Tourist (2020)
Bit too slow and predictable for me
Cred for being a clean family comic, but all a bit rambling, childish and repetitive for me. I guess you either like his delivery style or not. Good for kids and families though.
Warpath (2020)
Doesn't get better so give up now.
Poor acting, scenery repeats and bison grazing in the distance while plodding down the same wooded country lane seemed weird. The indians were totally unconvincing as was the choice of musical score. A disappointing portrayal of what probably started off as a decent storyline. A film worth missing.
Savage Creatures (2020)
Strange movie.
The aliens are a bit pathetic, the acting mediocre and it was obviously a budget movie or student movie, but that said I watched it and was entertained. The plot was pretty crazy and the makeup overdone, but better than a lot of budget movies I have seen this year.
Battlefield 2025 (2020)
3 is generous
Film drags on with poor acting mostly, then ends the moment the battle starts which is pointless. Waste of time watching it as nothing much happens and then it ends. The alien is pretty rubbish but was the most convincing actor. There is no battlefield, just a dark night in the country. Beyond silly, but better than Ninja Shark.
Dragon Soldiers (2020)
Pretty bad acting
Entertaining if you like some tongue in cheek naff movies but not in any way a good movie. Acting pretty bad, continuity poor and credibility non existent. Still I watched it till the end for comedy value. Not as bad as Ninja Shark.
Collision Earth (2020)
Pathetic
After 10 minutes you find yourself wishing for it to be over quickly. One of the worst films i have ever seen. Special effects are just silly and the cast of 10 or so wannabe actors need to retire.
Alienated (2019)
No ending
Well made but non ending movie so waste of time watching it. Expected a "To be concluded" sign to appear during closing credits. Not very consistent, as he suddenly seems to understand, rushes back to crime scene, then later seems to have forgotten all that and doubts his daughter all over again. Strange drama.
