Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023)
So bad, what were writers thinking
First Shazam was barely tolerable, felt like it was designed for 13 year olds while the rest of the DC universe was for 18+. They doubled down on that with this Shazam keeping it for kids and then introducing two old women as the main villains and somehow wonder how it got the worst box office return for a DC movie in 5 or so years (including those that got hit by covid and went right to HBO the day they were released in theatres). Thankfully this should be the end of this version of Shazam. Lets hope the remakes are at a minimum of geared towards those older than 16 and they may have a tiny shot at competing with Marvel.
The Big Bang Theory: The Killer Robot Instability (2009)
As a normal guy (bit nerdy but not overally) I'm shocked at some comments
Can't believe some people actually sticking up for Howard in this episode and using "Beauty Insensitivity" as some type of reasoning. Here we have a guy who has continually sexually harassed a woman who on several occasions has told him to stop and that it makes her uncomfortable and its "creepy". Despite this he continues to do it and then gets yelled at and we're supposed to feel bad for him? Is sexual harassment ok if you're a nerdy white guy because you don't normally get the pretty girl so you can say and do whatever you want to people? Its insane. She was in her right a long time ago to tell him off and even worse if he didn't stop. Yes its a comedy and he's supposedly doing this because he knows no better, but thats not an excuse for harassment. If it makes her uncomfortable it has to stop immediately.
It amazes me how people could feel bad for someone harassing a girl just because the guy is nerdy or lonely.
