Save yourself, and skip past "The Mist"

The show starts off okay, but goes down hill from there. Nothing in this show makes sense. The fact that it got cancelled after the first season says a lot.

First of all, not a single character in this show is likeable. Even if you do like a character, they'll end up doing something stupid and make you dislike them. The only characters I didn't roll my eyes for when they appeared on screen was Kevin and Jay. None of the characters have any type of character development to make you feel sorry or bad for them anyways. The daughter Alex was useless and the whole rape storyline was pointless in my opinion. Never in a show should I ever be rooting for everyone to die.

Even the reason why Adrian raped Alex just makes no sense to me. He wanted to protect her? When Jay left her upstairs to sleep?

I skipped almost every mall scene because it physically hurt me to see the faces of Gus and that sheriff guy who's name I don't care to remember.

Why did Jonah not remember anything and wake up in the middle of nowhere?

Why did Mia care so much about the money when there's literally fog outside that is killing people one by one?

Why did Connor go from being the ignorant cop to a soft innocent cop? The character change made no sense.

Why is Eve the most bland and useless character in the whole show?

Everyone will end up turning on everyone. Someone will meet someone and be cool with them then BOOM, they want to kill them. Even family members turn on each other, and for what? To build suspense? It's just all stupid.

We get no answers as to how the mist formed. Other than hints that it's the military and the government is behind all of it. Cant really blame the producers for that though, since the show ended after the first season.

This show is interesting. Most of the characters are likeable. But why so unrealistic and predictable? It's getting annoying. Honestly wish the "Killer" killed Emma, because shes the dumbest character.

In real life, after the killer strikes three times, the FBI would get involved and the killer would be found and shot dead. (or prison for life if they're lucky)

Every single thing that happened to the characters in season 1, they completely forgot. They act clueless when they see something suspicious. It's happened 2 times before, you should get the memo by then (at the end of season 2.) They'll see a dead body somewhere and say "oh that's normal" until they get a call and suddenly they get scared.

This whole thing in the first place could have gotten avoided if they didn't ANSWER THE PHONE. Just block. I cringed every time they picked up the phone lol. If Emma was an actual good friend, she would move out of Lakewood to keep her friends safe.

Also, all of the "killers" are new characters. Not original ones. Not the lakewood 6. It's always a new character that gets close to Emma. (season 2 ep 13) any smart person would realize the killers tactics. If emma was actually smart, she would have realized what Alex was up to. She said in this episode "It's hard for me to trust people". How? You kissed a guy like the day you met him and went to his house when you knew nothing about him. I really wished the main character wasn't this stupid.

This movie was horrible. I was actually rooting for the antagonist. The acting is bland and there is no storyline. I didn't care about Ricki being kidnapped at all. First of all, she's 16, on the streets and going into random guys cars. Before that happened, she was a literal prostitute and using the money she earns to help her friend get drugs. 0 empathy towards her. It's like these girls don't watch movies or the news. They always trust the guy dressed like the stereotypical serial killer.

That police department was ridiculous... There were like 4 cops there and all because it's ''The 4th of July weekend'' 😂 Please make this more realistic... That whole night, only 1 girl was getting kidnapped? Must be a small town then.

The antagonist is a chemistry teacher, claimed he'd done that to many girls before and had never been caught. Another example of the horrible police department. Also, apparently he also only kills girls who are over 18 since he was so sensitive about the under 18 stuff. That was shocking. Since when do serial killers care about their victims age? How didn't he know she was a high schooler is he teaches at her school? (So it seems)

Near the ending I was hoping Ricki wouldn't magically break free but she did... yikes.

They called for backup and the S. W. A. T so many times but nobody came. Lmao. What happened to the heli he shot around 100 times? They didn't crash?

Right at the end, she's back at school. But guess what? The antagonist is teaching at her school. Now, how the he'll do you not recognize a man who held you hostage and surely, made a big impact on your life. That was the most ridiculous part of the film. He looked exactly the same too, just changed his wig. Someone suggested that the teacher is his twin brother in the trailer comments, sounds stupid but that's the only logical way. He got stabbed and shot twice, escaped prison and is a teacher again? Yeah I'm gonna go with the twin theory

The only good thing about this movie is.... nothing honestly. The serial killer was kinda cute though. It also (I hope) teaches young girls (like myself) not to get in cars with random people.. stuff you learn when you're 5. Also, to stay in school and don't sell your body at such a young age...

1/10.

At the very end, why do movies do this. She's going to the nurses office but it looks like she's going to the gates of heaven. Walking into nothing but bright light. 😂😂 Maybe I should give it a 2/10 because this part made me laugh.

He really watched the man/woman explode instead of touching the rock.... I really hate when people act stupid in movies. Anyways I don't see how this is a Sci-Fi. The whole drug thing was really stupid IMO, and the fac5 that they needed to add the who.e brain tumour in. Didn't add anything to the story.

Boring movie.

Please, please stop making every horror the same. It's getting boring now. I swear I've seen 6 other movies like this. For example: family moving into a house where the pervious family got killed, and they say the killer is still in the house ( let's move in! What could possibly go wrong!) Oh, and also what's up with all horror movies having a couple. The female most of the time sees something or someone and the man never believes her. I taught people in relationships are supposed to trust each other?

This movie was way too predictable. It's called a horror, but I didn't jump or get scared once. I don't even think there were any jump scares. More like a thriller to me.

The movie was pretty stupid too. I was really tying hard to understand who the man was who was hiding "in the walls." Is the guy "in the walls" a living ghost? Turning taps on, opening doors, moving tennis balls? He's a magician or something?

How was he sending her those flowers?

How did the security cameras not capture ANYTHING like he's a ghost, yet she was able to stab him and he bled to death?

You're telling me Natalie and Kevin didn't smell the dude in their house? He looks like he hasn't showered in ages.

And the dead rotting corpse who was placed in the bed? Kevin can't smell properly or what?

And who stays with their wife after she cheats? Lol.

How is this "based on true events?"

I really wished people in horror/thrillers would, I don't know.... RUN OUT OF THE HOUSE? When they hear footsteps and see doors opening on their own.

Only reason why this has 2 starts is because the dog was a pretty good actor.

At 1:17:50, why did she break the window just to use the outer door handle? Nobody else noticed this? Lmfao...anyways.

The movie is about a young Business women named Angela. She's the last to leave the building in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve when she encounters Thomas, a psychopathic security guard.

This movie was kinda dumb, so was Angela the entire movie. The choices Angela makes will make you want to turn the movie off. Who wrote this? The whole movie is literally just Angela running around and making dumb decisions in a skimpy dress. Also, the exaggerated acting: CRINGE.

I really have to stop watching Netflix Thrillers.

I honestly don't know why I keep watching Netflix Thrillers, there aren't ANY good ones. Firstly, this acting is atrocious, absolutely horrifying. These "criminals" are the worst actors i've ever seen, including the daughter. Oh gosh, the daughter. The mothers acting was also bad, but slightly tolerable. Damn even the cops' acting is bad 😂

What's up with Netflix and these low budget movies? This movie was unwatchable. I'm exactly 30 minutes in and I can already tell that this movie isn't a good one.

To the daughter: who picks up grapes like that? She looks like she's in her early 20's but makes the dumbest decisions. The mom is also an idiot, guess it runs in the family.

I was using this movie as background noise while texting my friends so I wasn't really paying attention, but how did the male "criminal" know the padlock passcode? Was that padlock even there before? Lol. 30 minutes in and there are already numerous signs telling me to turn this movie off.

Netflix, thank you for adding this Comedy to your shelves!

People of the world, avoid this movie at all costs 😂

See, I would have rated this short film higher, until I read that they stole this from another woman and never gave credit.

As a 15 year old black girl, this movie just didn't make much sense to me. In my opinion, everything that happened after the first killing would never happen in real life. You're telling me, the cop sees this man walk out of his building, and just shoots him? He just keeps on shooting an innocent man, dressed in proper clothing, walking out of an apartment building?

Although I do not live in the United States, there is still racism where I live in Canada (Ontario) and all around the world. This movie is simply unrealistic, spreading a false narrative that whenever a white cop sees a black man, they'll automatically shoot them. I agree, there were defined ty some unfair shootings in the past, like the 9 year old who was playing with a fake gun and got shot. But, this exact storyline is just not written properly.

I did admire the ending, with a small list of the names of many black Americans killed by police.

This movie just didn't portray an accurate storyline on how black people are affected by the police.

This movie is absolutely terrible. Got to be bots giving this movie a good rating. Firstly, the acting is terrible. We're introduced to so many characters when they've already figured out who the cyber stalker might be 15 minutes in. Jo is a terrible actress and her choices made zero sense. Who puts on HEADPHONES while breaking into someone else's house? Wow, I'm being cyber stalked shortly after my ex and I broke up. I have 0 enemies and a small circle. WHO COULD MY STALKER BE? Oh please. Don't waste your time on this low budget trash.

I want to let out my anger but I will refrain from doing so.

This movie was terrible. Horrible. What the hell was this? Firstly, did Annie suffer brain damage or is she always this useless and stupid? Charlie came to her house multiple times when Scott wasn't there. No red flags? You don't wonder why the man who sold you the house, is at the house 24/7? She invited him inside every time, invited a stranger into her house. Why does one person never listen to the other in Thriller movies? You shouldn't be in a relationship if you can't trust your damn partner.

Also, Annie has no peripheral vision while Charlie was creeping in the washroom? Meagan Good really ruined this movie, along with that horrendous haircut. Scott didn't see Mikes car at the entrance when he came home from the hospital? Ok.

I love Thriller movies but the Netflix ones gotta go.

What am I watching? I'm a big fan of thriller movies, but what was this. No story-line whatsoever. When did cops suddenly forget how to do their job? The acting is horrendous and the mom is the dumbest person I've ever seen. Dudes gone loco killing the girls whole family because he doesn't pay attention to traffic lights. That's the whole movie. I turned it off after 30 minutes because of "Rachel's" choices and the fact that the mans mad for no reason at all. His face annoyed me too, damn. I could not cringe any longer. This is why I gotta stop watching Netflix thrillers... I have never seen a thriller movie this bad in my 15 years of existence.
