Midnight Mass (2021)
Super slow start.
I'm ok with that. However, I can't get past how all the characters that are supposed to be elderly are all made up to look old. And not very well. It is so distracting to see high school theater make up on so many people.
The Christmas Note (2015)
I did enjoy the fact that it was a bit different.
The fact that it's not the typical romance was a nice change. The non stop coincidences were really bad, how everyone was a known customer or former employee in Betty's but no one thought to ask her if she know any of the people they were trying to find.
The worst part was how whiney the one character was about her husband. I mean really whiney. He wasn't dead but she moped around acting like he was, how hard life was without him, how would she ever do this? She's in a gorgeous house, family is there cooking and cleaning and helping all the time, she's not really having that hard of a time except for her own attitude.
Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game of Cat and Mouse (2019)
So, so, bad it's actually funny.
Watched this as we were looking for something on a rainy day with guests. Completely predictable. The acting was hysterical and the characters were so cliche. Oh, and Candace Bure's wig is awful.
