Twins (1988)
Not bad at all.
This was a pretty funny movie that I would suggest you watch if you want to have a hernia. Arnold (I'm not going to even try to spell his last name), plays the twin brother of Danny Devito. They were born of one mother and six fathers the fathers all had their sperm mixed together and injected into a women as sort of an experiment. The movie is basically about Arnold looking up his roots while Devito is trying to deliver an object worth five million dollars. There are many funny scenes and some action to boot. Of course, a lot of humor about Devito being small and Arnold being big I really liked this film. Great acting from both men and a fine performance from the sexy Kelly Preston.
Kiss of Death (1947)
A great start for a great actor.
I first watched "Kiss of Death" about a month after the passing of the great star Richard Widmark. I think that his role in this film is one of his best and that Widmark is highly underrated.
The film is about a criminal played by Victor Mature who is caught after committing a crime. He is sentenced to spend some time in jail. At first he dosen't want to snitch on his friends and is sent to jail. He reads in a newspaper while he is in jail that his wife committed suicide. Mature's character had two little girls they were sent of the an orphanage or foster-home. When he hears of this he tells the police everything they want to know and he is let out on probation. There is another snitch who has also ratted out the names of his accomplishes. His former friends find out he has ratted them out so they send out Tommy Udo played by Widmark to kill him. He gets to the informers house and finds out that he has fled the country. The informers mother is there however, and Udo decides to kill her to get revenge. She is an old sick woman in a wheel chair this does not phase Udo. He pushes her down the stairs to her death. Mature's character who was also a snitch was in danger for his former friends found out that he to had snitched on them. Through out the rest of the film Mature's character lives in fear of Udo showing up to kill him and his family. In the end Mature confronts Widmark and gets Widmark to shoot him which violates Widmarks restrictions that the law put upon him. Widmark is shot down by the police in the end and is taken to jail where he belongs. Mature's character survives and now is in no danger of being attacked by anyone again.
Gandhi (1982)
An excellent film that tells the life of an historical figure correctly.
The film "Gandhi" I consider to be one of Richard Attenboroughs finest and one of my most favorite films. THe film tells the life of the nonviolent historical figure Mahatma Gandhi we know this from the title. The leading role was played by Ben Kingsley who did a superb job and deserved the Oscar that he won for portraying this Gandi. The films also had a great cast with stars like John Gielgud, Martin Sheen and John Mills to name a few. I found this film very moving Kingsley played the part of Gandi so convincingly that it is hard to believe that he is not actually Gandhi but an actor. The end and beginning of the film when Gandhi is killed is a very powerful moment in this film. It made me sad to see Gandhi die he was such a nice and important person in the film. The good news was that Gandhi accomplished his goal. He stopped the fighting in India and went back to god a happy man.
12 Angry Men (1957)
They don't make them like this anymore.
I watched twelve angry men the other day and was surprised at how good of a movie it was. The acting was great and they had a good cast. Id have to say that my favorite was Fonda.
The movie was about an 18yr old kid who supposedly killed his father. When the jury went to discuss the case all the jury except one man Fonda, Believed he was guilty. For many reasons they believed he was guilty like because he was from a slum. There was also a man who no matter what anyone said would not admit that the boy was not guilty Lee.J Cobb. So Cobb and Fonda were basically rivals in the film. Through out the movie Fonda convinces everyone that the boy is not guilty (even Cobb at the end).
I really enjoyed this film I really recommend it.
Fallout (1997)
The greatest game ever.
This is a great game I first played it in 2000. I have been playing it ever since. The action the gore the quotes this game is a masterpiece.
They have many famous celebrities voice the characters in this game. Richard Dean Anderson ,(Stargate Atlantis) Keith David,(Crash Agent Cody Banks) and Brad Garret,(Everyone Loves Raymond). There are many more but it would take to long to list.
The game starts off with the overseer telling the main character the vault dweller that the water supply is running low. So you have to get a water chip as soon as you start the game the fun begins. You can fight things from rad scorpions to raiders to mutants and many more people and monsters.
This game is great I give it 10 stars because fallout is a game you wont get bored with.
Cool Hand Luke (1967)
10 out of 10!
This was a great movie I enjoyed It from beginning to end. the characters in the movie the actors they were all great. The story is about a man Luke (played by Paul Newman). He is in a jail out in the country and every chance he gets he trys to escape. Kinds of reminds me of Steve Mcqueen in The Great Escape; because, every time Luke escapes he gets caught and locked up.
The quotes from the movie were also good like what we have here is failure to communicate. They also had great scenes like when Luke ate fifty eggs. All in all it was a great movie I could watch it over and over again 10 out of 10 stars.
