Lot 63, Grave C (2006)
Mood Piece
Not so much a documentary but more of a mood piece. No real new information or expansion on what is available other than a view of the grave itself. Kind of interesting but easily skippable. You'll walk away maybe a little sadder, but no smarter on what happened to that guy, other than he died.
Otello (1986)
Didn't realize that this wasn't in English.
I don't understand Italian, singing or spoken, and I couldn't follow the subtitles. It might be great for opera fans, but it was all lost on me.
Du bei chuan wang (1972)
Don't be fooled by the title.
The movie I watched on Amazon Prime was called "One Armed Boxer" but that has nothing to do with the plot. Typical kungfu movie with one school battling another and a perceived slight. Decent movie with English dub and subtitles. Liked the use of the "Shaft" theme during the pivotal fight scenes.
Kitten in a Cage (1968)
Well, at least it has strippers.
What a strange little movie. The plot has something to do with the female lead being "framed" as an alcoholic and drug abuser. Why? I never figured it out. There are a few scenes that take place in a strip club. The women are nice but not great. What made this so weird for me was how the dubbed dialog was written. Let me give you an idea. Say you wanted to film a conversation about getting from the bar to a Braves game. Start by filming person X and Y talking about the best route. Now do the same thing again but this time it is its between persons Y and Z. Now editing everything together but cutting person Y totally out of the movie. You get two people talking to each other about the same thing, but the two sides of the conversations don't sync up and are just a little different from each other. There is a lot of scenes like this, even when both characters are in the same room (or shower ;)) . I think your safe to skip this one unless you like dancers from the 60's in black and white.
