Leading choice of Hauser was what didn't make this hit the next lvl. No offense to him, but honestly, when you have the higher caliber actor of Morgan Freeman...I feel like an actor like Mel Gibson could have pulled this off, aged, worry, weathered and troubled brow... good original story line, which is rare these days, but my favorite of this movie was realizing that NFL star tight end from the San Francisco 49er's, Washington Redskins Vernon Davis nailed his debut as the villain, the African witch doctor! He did excellent! I was very impressed by his performance in this film. Hope he gets more opportunities for roles, way to go Vernon!

Attention to detail with Era related items was a 10 on a scale from 1-10. The people that put this together obviously had a dream and a budget. You can see the effort by the unknown actors so don't judge, they aren't Anthony Hopkins'. I enjoyed this for what it was, a 80's nostalgia themed tales from the crypt style story. Most people today can't wait to complain and downplay anything that's not 5 star. That's our society now, but some people can see through the B. S. I enjoyed this film, for what it was. I don't know if this is a first film for the crew that made it happen but I see the beginning of a fun and fruitful future with this idea.

This was fresh. I loved this werewolf film. It was full of feeling, character rich issues formed a wonderful film with my favorite movie monster. Very well done overall. A must see modern take for the classic movie monster fan. Nailed it! This was well acted well written and flowed from the beginning to the end. I'd like to see a possible follow up film regarding the origin of the original werewolf...fingers crossed! This is a must see for any horror fan that enjoys deep issued characters dealing with love, hate, and fate twisted in turmoil to the unfortunate bitter end. I will.be lookimg for more films from this director.

This was great. DC, horror and likable actors. This was fresh,....great chemistry between the actors and the story was entertaining. I dont know why it was cancelled but it seems extremely premature and man am I bummed. Ive been a fan of swamp thing since I was a kid and was thrilled to hear this was being made. I didnt catch it on tv, so I bought the series and love it, the wife agrees, this is good. Alot of people tend to be overly critical when it comes to this kind of genre...Im aware that a ton of effort is put in to create a immersible and entertaining show and I appreciate it. Great job to all who was involved, so sorry to see this end wayyyyyy to soon.
