The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson: Jay Leno (guest host), Arnold Schwarzenegger, Paul Provenza, Itzhak Perlman (1991)
My first show taping
This was the first show I went to see taped. On the way there we were listening to Howard Stern and Arnold was on. I told my cousin who was with me that I wouldn't walk across the street to see him. He had just been to my smallish hometown and didn't even consider going. We got there at about 6 am to stand in line for tickets. Someone had a newspaper and said let's see who we are going to see today on the show. First thing she read off was Arnold. So I got up at 4am drove from Bellflower to Burbank and stood in line for tickets for 2 hours, came back at 1:00 pm in August to stand in line until 4pm to make sure we got in, we were about halfway in the line, to see him. I really enjoyed Itzhak Perlman and Paul Provenza so it was worth it.
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno: Episode #1.56 (1992)
Was at this taping.
I was at this taping. It was a great show, back then I didn't know who Star Jones was but was excited to see Clint Eastwood and the B52s.

Loved This Show
Every time I see a clock tower apartment on TV, usually on a real estate program, it reminds me of this great show. It made me want to live in one, I died when I saw a huge 4 clock tower penthouse on Selling New York, all glass with a glass elevator taking up the whole floor. I don't know why but this show made me wish to live in a clock tower with a spectacular view. I have a great view, but if I could remodel and money wasn't a problem, I would build my own space with a clock with a window seat.
The clock took me in, the show itself, when it wasn't being manipulated by NBC, was comedic genius, kept me there, I was sorry to see it go.
