Chicago P.D. (2014)
Tiresome
It started off brilliant, but last few years it's gone down hill. The writers must hate women because every main female character has been awful, but none more so than Upton now and the one who plays Burgess can't act to save her life. F it's kept on air it needs all new characters and no more reused stories. Every series Voight has killed and buried someone and the who series is him trying not to get caught.
Ragdoll (2021)
If you're a fan of the book I'd be very wary.
Was one of the stipulations for the Americans co producing this that they had to Americanise it and make it bloody woke? The character of Edmunds is awful. Lucy Hale can't act and the character was ruined by being turned into a woke American woman always banging on about her feelings. Don't even get me started on the massacre of the plot either. Big chunks changed and left out have ruined it. Will say Henry Lloyd Hughes & Thalissa Teixeira are brilliant in their roles.
Heartbreak High (1994)
Childhood nostalgia
Was so glad when I found this on Netflix it was genuinely one of my favourite programmes ever as a kid. Watching it now though you realise most of those in it couldn't act for anything! I've still watched it all though.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
Better than I thought.
A lot better than I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be as ridiculous as Wandavision & Loki. Good story but really didn't see the point of Sharon Carter but I never did in the films either. She wasn't needed in this and the story would've been fine without her. Don't get me started on EVC acting either.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Yes I'm bitter.
Yes, I know it's been 2 years and that's a long time to be bitter, but I am.
This film was amazing it goes everything up that needed to be and gave us the beginning of a new marvel phase. I loved the comedic elements the most it wasn't as serious as Infinity War. My bitterness is though why the needed to kill off Natasha, the character deserved her happy ending and to be a part of the big finish. However Pepper Pots DID NOT. I don't get why she had such a big (ish) part in the story ending.
Rizzoli & Isles (2010)
Not as good when you watch it a second time.
I loved this show when it was originally on but I've just started watching it again and I can't believe how I unbelievably un-likeable and ridiculous the characters of Isles & Angela are. It's now so cringe worthy to watch I can't remember what made me like it before. All the other main characters are decent though. Lee Thompson Young god bless him was wasted on this show.
Grey's Anatomy (2005)
It's run it's course.
I stopped watching this a few years ago, the storylines were beyond ridiculous and it felt like it was being forced on the world. I went back to it during lockdown because I felt like i had watched every tv show ever made. Nothing had changed really, still the same ridiculous storylines but now with added new characters that made me want to punch myself in the face. This sister house story is creepy and so unbelievable that the writers and producers must be wetting themselves that people are still wanting to watch it and for it to continue. It's about time they put the world and show out of its misery and end it.
Little Fish (2020)
Hidden Gem.
Very depressing story but told so well. Adore the Jude character, Jack O,Connell shows he's amazing acting chops. Wasn't keen on how Emma was portrayed though, she seemed to spend most of the film blaming Jude for something he couldn't control. It's like the story was made to make us dislike her. Would watch it again though.
The Witches (2020)
This film NEVER needed a remake.
One of the worst films I've watched in a while. Octavia Spencer is wasted in it, and I wish people would stop telling Anne Hathaway she can act. The original was a brilliant film that didn't need a remake.
Noelle (2019)
Don't believe the hype.
Would have been a great little film had it not been for the awful over acting of the "Star" I've never thought much of Kendrick but wanted to give it a chance because Disney are usually so on point with Christmas films, but I couldn't even finish it I turned off a quarter of the way through. Good plot horrible cast. Hallmark Christmas is the way to go nowadays.
Bones: The Finder (2011)
No use to Bones.
Ok episode, but not much Bones just a Segway to the Finder shoe. Thank god Saffron Barrows didn't continue in the role, even if it was a short lived series. How can an English woman have the worst English accent I've ever heard in my life.
