The Mysterious Benedict Society: Depends on the Wagon (2021)
Deviate from the books just a little too much for me...
The first two episodes had just enough changes from the original story to make it interesting.
However...
This episode, changes things a bit too much, Milligan never goes back to the house, people don't get sent off the island for failing, etc.
Odk, maybe it's just me being uncomfortable with a lot of change, but I just didn't like it as much
Also, I don't like the fact that they added so much of a back story to Benedict and Curtain, it felt a little more mysterious in the series.
The Mysterious Benedict Society: A Bunch of Smart Orphans (2021)
Stays (mostly) true to the books
The acting could use a little work, but otherwise, I love this show. It's so cool to see the books I've been reading since elementary school put onto the screen. My only problem is that Mr. Benedict's and Mr. Curtain's suits aren't that ugly green plaid. Instead, Mr. Benedict looks at a square piece of plaid fabric instead.
Also, once they finish this show, they should totally make a movie about the Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict...
Yes Day (2021)
Come on, it's not THAT bad
This movie is, obviously, not for adults. However, it's a fun movie for kids. There are a few really good laughs mixed in with some cool action scenes. Also it has great family messages in it.
Overall, a great movie for your kids to watch.
Also, if anyone says this is nothing like the book, then they should take a moment to contemplate life. They're basing this off a classic 20 something page long children's book! Cut the producers some slack!
Milo Murphy's Law (2016)
The Floppy Eared One Shall Be Our Leader
Season 1 was brilliant, I loved the whole Doctor Who theme. The voice acting is great, and the dialogue is witty. Season 2 was a little weird, but still very well made. I love the songs in Milo Murphy, the are hilarious and catchy. The Phineas and Ferb crossover throughout the show was awesome. Overall, not as good as P&F, but still better than most shows.
Remember the Titans (2000)
One of My Favorites
I had heard about this movie before, but it was never on TV, so I couldn't watch it. When we got Disney+ I decided I would watch it. Since then, I've seen it several times. I have read all of these reviews about how innacruate it is, but who cares. It does say "based on a true story". The acting is great, and I absolutely love the soundtrack. Overall, one of the best films I have ever seen.
