Great early Italian western
22 November 2020
This is a great early Euro western with all of the usual elements an Italian western; revenge, gold, beautiful women , dusty scenes and an Ennio Morricone score, as regards the music. I won't give away the plot! There's also the usual staged -and perhaps pointless fistfights - and some humour. Definitely worth a watch for fans of the genre, if you can find a copy. Hardly the greatest in the genre, but worthwhile nonetheless.

Great early Euro western

A solid early Euro western; no surprises really, but entertaining enough. A sheriff follows two brothers into Mexico on his wedding day. Only the elder, Billy, seems to be guilty, however. The usual fare of Mexicans after the gold is there. I won't give more of the plot away. Good, atmospheric music by the maestro Morricone. Well worth a look.

Quirky and unusual Italian western
21 November 2020
This is an unusual, quirky comedy western, with Tomas Milian playing an eccentric bounty hunter called Providence. There's a sometimes uneasy alliance with him and a petty criminal, played by Gregg Palmer. Certainly not a usual Eurowestern, as there's almost no gunplay at all. Entertaining enough, but very different from the films made by Leone, Corbucci, Sollima, et al. Certainly worth a look.
