The Orville: Electric Sheep (2022)
Disappointing
The Orville is one of my favorite shows, but after waiting 3 years for a new season, I expected way more. This episode was long and boring. There was only one storyline which made it seem to drag. It seems like they relied way too much on the special effects. I'm kind of surprised that they had so much time to write an incredible season and all they gave us was a mediocre, forgetful episode.
The Christmas Contest (2021)
On the boring side
I love Candace Cameron Bure but this movie was quite bland. The story was OK but the writing was boring and there wasn't a climax. This is definitely not one of the better Hallmark movies.
A Castle for Christmas (2021)
Better than any Hallmark
I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. This was a great production. It was so magical. Christmas, Brooke Shields, Scotland, and Carey Elwes with a Scottish accent - need I say more? This movie blows any Hallmark movie out of the water. It's the Christmas love story you've been waiting for.
Godmothered (2020)
Good enough, but confusing ending
I wasn't upset that I watch this movie. However, once was enough for me. It was way too close to Enchanted, only not as funny and not as well executed. The message the whole time was finding a happy ending. It would make sense if they continued that message and showed the audience that there are different kinds of happily ever after 's. But instead, the message at the end was "love is love." Why in the world would they change the message? It felt pieced together. It makes me wonder if they had an alternative ending but it wasn't PC enough, so they through together this ending. I don't feel like it was a waste of time, but there are definitely better movies out there.
