Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
Why?
I love Halloween and Michael Myers, but this movie is straight up stupid and cringy. The kills suck, the acting is mediocre at best. There's nothing scary about this movie at all. I'd still like to know why Busta Rhymes and Tyra Banks of all people was cast in this film. There's no suspense to Michael. Going back to Busta Rhymes, his cheap "karate" skills reminds me of the Batman series that starred Adam West. College students are watching 6 students get killed and they think it's all part of the show. The ***only*** decent kill in this monstrosity was Busta Rhymes character and it was meh at best. The only thing scary about this movie is that they actually gave it the green light to be made. John Carpenter didn't want this for his legendary classic.
Malignant (2021)
Hmmm
This movie had its moments and had some decent jump scares. Other than that, it was kindly hard to make sense of what was happening. The writing was all over the place and there was too many plot holes and subplots to follow. It also took from different genres of horror movies at moments so that made it harder to follow.
Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years (2021)
Major plot holes
This show is cute in concept, but has some major issues that needs to be addressed. For starters, the new movie shows Squidward as a camper in flashbacks. This show has him as a counselor, so which is it. Also, the new movie and this show contradicts itself when Spongebob and Sandy meets. In the original show, they meet when Spongebob sees her struggling with the giant clam, this has them attending the same camp. Also, how old is Mr. Krabs, Plankton, Larry Lobster, Bubblebass and Mrs. Puff?
Cobra Kai (2018)
Major Throwback
Growing up, I was a TOTAL nerd for the Karate Kid. I copied every move and own every DVD. These movies are a huge part of my childhood and I'm glad this generation gets a chance to know Daniel, Johnny, the ways of Miyagi-Do. I love that season 3 brought back some very much loved and hated (Kreese) characters. I loved seeing Chozen and Kumiko and that Daniel went back to Okinawa to get back to his roots and to make amends with Chozen. Seeing Kreese's backstory doesn't change my mind about him at all, and probably never will. It was good to see Tommy, Bobby and the OG Cobra Kai back in season 2, but it was a heartbreaking moment learning that Tommy had a terminal illness and ended up passing on his last ride with his friends
