The Walking Dead: Warlords (2022)
The best of the last 5 episodes
An excellent chapter with good rhythm. The fact that a lot of main characters are going to meet again is pretty exciting, but furthermore the last 10 minutes of the episode were awesome.
The Walking Dead: On the Inside (2021)
100% adrenaline, movie quality
This episode was just...insane. The rythm, the tension, the sound and the atmosphere are superlative. It was like watching a little horror movie (a googd one). Lauren Ridloff deserves a especial mention, her performance in this chapter was amazing.
The Walking Dead: Acheron: Part I (2021)
Poor haters
This is one of the best season openings, and it's so funny the fact that haters still take their time to rank with 1 star.... only because they love to hate.
The Walking Dead: Out of the Ashes (2021)
Almost all arcs in this chapter
I loved episodes which show all arcs. Having in the same episode scenes of Commonwealth, Judith, Negan-Maggie and Alexandria is great.
The Walking Dead: Last Day on Earth (2016)
Get out crybabies
Its hilarious, this is one of the best episodes of the show, and its average is low because a bunch of high sensitive crybabies are dedicated to put 1 star due to they had no idea that a zombie tv show probably would have gore deaths....
But seriously, this episode and 7x01 are great, the tension and the fear that you feel along all the scene in that night is pure gold. Futhermore every interaction between Andrew and Jeffrey is sublime.
The Walking Dead: Here's Negan (2021)
And this is how you build a golden character!
I love this episode for a a simple reason, because it teaches us that a good character is not a really good guy or a really bad guy, the best characters are always the most complex, those who are made of many layers like an onion, as the case of Negan. And of course the outstanding performance of JDM helps a lot.
The Walking Dead: Rendition (2021)
4 episodes and pleasantly excited!
The quality of this season so far has given to TWD the ending that deserves.
The Walking Dead: Acheron: Part II (2021)
Iconic moments in subway
This episode gave us 2 memorable and iconic scenes: the first about the kid and the decision of Maggie and the badass entry of Daryl into the subway car. Also, the dialogues between Negan and Maggie are gold. I´m really excited about the quality of this season!!
The Walking Dead: What It Always Is (2019)
Finally!
During season 9 Negan character was wasted locked in a cell. Finally, it's time to make up for lost time!!
PD: i can't undertand so many crybabies who hate the show but still they take the time to rank every episode with 1 star. Get a life!
The Walking Dead: The Day Will Come When You Won't Be (2016)
The best episode of the show, period
If i have to use a one word to describe this episode is "insane". The level of adrenaline, tension and fear was so high that i couldnt take my eyes off the screen. The atmosphere created was subliminal: the fog, the dawn after the disaster, the silence in some scenes... We also have one of the best introductions of a villain of all times, this chapter definitely marks a turning point in the whole serie: Negan is the character who make us see for the first time the true fear and helplessness on Rick's face. Finally i can say that thanks to this chapter i kept watching TWD, until "the Saviors" the rythim was quite slow and the story had become unrealistic: Rick and his group always found the solution... until now.
Watchmen (2009)
Maybe out of time
I never understood the hate to this movie when was released. This is the most realistic film about superheroes that i've never seen. Maybe 2009 was a really diferent time compared to nowdays, and now the movie is.getting the recognition it deserves.
Sicario (2015)
Most exciting movie of the last years
This movie is all you expect from a 10/10 movie
Mind-blowing Photography: Roger Deakins.
Superb music: Jóhann Jóhannsson.
Brilliant direction: Denis Villeneuve.
The best cast: Benicio del Toro is just incredible in his performance. Emily Blunt and Josh Brolin shine too
The story is so attractive because there is not the "evil and good" cliché. In the world of the fight against drug trafficking maybe 1 evil action could avoid 2 evil actions
The tension generated by the film is so high that i ended up with neck pain
My only regret is not having watch it before.
Girls (2012)
Reality is uncomfortable
Girls is a serie that I've learned to value over time. It has a large number of scenes that instantly brought tears to my eyes because they reminded me of past experiences. I think the show has a lot of haters because it is actually quite realistic, and many people are uncomfortable admitting that life has more failed or toxic relationships than ideal relationships, that friends probably fail us or we fail as friends, or that professionally we will not all be rich and successful. For those viewers better that they continue idolizing Friends and believing that their characters are representative of reality.
One of the things that I would change in the serie is that it is too focused on Hannah, and usually forgets to develop in parallel and at the same rate the other girls
El agente topo (2020)
Straight to the heart
I admit that I started watching the movie with zero expectations, but after 10 minutes you can't avoid getting involved with Sergio, Marta and Berta and forgetting that you are looking at an audiovisual piece.
The movie's great achievment is to treat the issue of old age with respect, without exaggerations or excess of drama, but with total reality. This reality is what shocks the viewer, because aging is a taboo subject, we all know it is inevitable, but nobody wants to talk about it. Why? perhaps because the greatest fear is not of getting old, but of loneliness.
In summary, the film makes you go through the entire spectrum of emotions while reminding you that society must urgently change the way and prejudices with which older adults are treated
