Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
Great extension of the prequels
Now that I've finally seen all of it, I can tell that this series makes the prequel trilogy 10 times better, and adds a lot of great stories to the Star Wars lore.
Recommend it.
Imawa no Kuni no Arisu (2020)
Feels like a real life anime
For someone who watched anime just casually and only knows the really cliché ones, this series feels exactly like one of those.
From the acting to the whole scenario, it's just so over the top sometimes, it's still kinda good, but really too much sometimes.
Love, Death & Robots (2019)
A mixed bag full of great stories
While the second season didn't add as much good stories as I hoped (which makes sense, it's not even half as long as season 1), Love, Death & Robots still remains a great series,
which is capable of telling great stories with depth and meaning, but also just showing off funny ideas, in great & varying animation styles,
all in the span of less than 20 min each.
Easily recommended.
Love, Death & Robots: The Drowned Giant (2021)
Interesting idea, boring execution
While the premise sounds interesting, I had to rewind while watching because I kept losing focus, it's kinda boring.
Love, Death & Robots: The Tall Grass (2021)
Intense and stunning
While not having the most crazy plot or anything, this rather short episode has a beautiful (!) style of animation and a great, very intense atmosphere.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Bombad Jedi (2008)
Entertaining but skippable
Even though the jar-jar binks/C3PO scenes are entertaining, and sure are fun to watch for the kids that this show was aimed at, you really miss nothing skipping this episode, which makes it kinda useless.
The Punisher (2017)
Brutal, honest & beautiful
While his real first introduction was in Daredevil Season 2, this series really nailed the Punisher as a character.
Yes, there was lots of bloody action and shooting, but it also showed his emotions, his vulnerability - and Joe Bernthal perfectly embodied all of it.
A highlight of the Netflix-Marvel-Shows for sure.
Game of Thrones (2011)
A masterpiece of fantasy
This series was the one that got me into tv shows in the first place.
At the time, this was revolutionary in its adult way of portraying fantasy, and up until season 6/7, I really thought there couldn't be any better tv show.
Would recommend it for sure.
