Adini Feriha Koydum: Emir'in Yolu (2012)
Nope to the love interest
So Cagatay Ulusoy is my favorite actor. I adore him. Adini Feriha Koydum is my favorite series but I cannot get behind Emir'in Yolu. I watched it once even though I've watched AFK over a dozen times. The first few episodes are good. When Emir is in mourning you can feel it. He was only in mourning for 3 months! He mourned for 3 years when Feriha left him so 3 months is dumb. I hate Gunes. The character and the actress. She was nothing but trouble for Emir and Cagatay. This show would have survived if a stupid love interest had never been brought in. Especially that pile of whiney garbage Gunes. The cop as a love interest I maybe could have handled but not after only 3 months. The director was greedy and hurt Cagatay because of his greed. Killing Feriha sucked. The show should have ended with the wedding and Feriha surviving since Hazal couldn't come back for another season. I also would like to know what happened the 10 days before. The audience and Cagatay were screwed over by a greedy showrunner. Also, if Hazal hadn't been told it was ending after season 2 we could have had a good season 3. I gave 5 stars because as always Cagatay was excellent and the mourning episodes deserved more stars than 5 but the rest brings it down. Boo on imdb for not letting me type Turkish names correctly.
Love & Death (2023)
Watch Candy instead
Hulu's version of this story is better. I was immediately put off by Elizabeth Olsen's hairstyle as it wasn't the hideous curly mess that Candy actually wore at the time of the murder. I never imagined that I would prefer something starring Jessica Biel to anything else. Candy on Hulu was more realistic. This version seems almost like a parody of the real story. Melanie Lynskey plays a much more realistic and sympathetic Betty than Lily Rabe. Lily's version is unlikeable. Hopefully this series isn't going to try to make viewers sympathetic to Candy. How could anybody be? Skip this and watch Candy instead.
Tell Me Lies (2022)
Hate all of the characters
I watched this show because of who the show runners are but it's been hard to stick with it. It's hard to watch something when you couldn't care less what happens to any of the characters. The only ones I could maybe come close to caring about are Evan and Bree but at the end of the day I really don't. They're all toxic, horrible, and selfish. I hate Stephen and Lucy is almost just as bad. She's a b#&ch. She treats other people like garbage because of her obsession with Stephen. Anybody can see that he's trash. Are college kids really like this? The ones I've been around aren't. Maybe it's because they're rich or pretending to be. I need to see these actors in other projects to get past how horrible their characters are in this.
Pam & Tommy (2022)
Terrible casting
I'm old enough to remember when this happened. I was/am a huge fan of Motley Crue. Which is the main reason I watched this. Lily James is decent as Pam. I guess she's the only actress that could get that looked enough like her. Her face is too this and the fake boobs look like real boobs instead of breast implants. They could have done better with that. I love Sebastian Stan, but he is an awful casting choice for Tommy. He is way too short and looks greasy compared to what Tommy looked like then. His mouth is also wrong. Machine Gun Kelly was an awesome casting choice in The Dirt on Netflix. They should have asked him to play him for Hulu. The casting for the rest of The Crue is not great either. The guy playing Nikki is okay and they haven't had a close up of Mick yet so I can't judge that actor, but the casting choice for Vince is awful. Of course, the casting choice for Vince in The Dirt was awful too. Why is it so hard to cast Vince? The show itself is okay. It's very over the top and Pam comes across as dumb when in real life she really wasn't. I can see why she didn't want this made. Reliving it all would be a lot worse for her than Tommy. I like Lake Bell, but she really dropped the ball with this series. It could have been a lot better. Also, I realize that Tommy had a conversation with his penis in real life, but did they really have to make in talk back in the show. That's really stupid.
The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (2022)
I enjoyed it for the PARODY it is
This is a parody of The Woman in the Window. I'm shocked there are people who see the title and think this is supposed to be a serious series. Kristen Bell was great for this. It was really goofy but enjoyable. Sometimes it was a little cringy. Ended on a cliffhanger. Hopefully there will be a season 2. Like other viewers, I want to know why the saying on the headstone changed.
Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel (2021)
Conspiracy theory garbage
Shame on the people involved in making this "documentary". It had so much potential, but it was ruined by YouTube conspiracy theory, no life losers. These think they know more than the doctor that did the autopsy. They apparently don't know what a manic episode and psychosis look like. What do they think is going to happen when a bi polar person stops taking their medicine? It seems as if they would rather she was murdered. They needed to stay under their rocks. They should have never been put on Netflix to be seen worldwide. Don't give these idiots such a large platform. They didn't know her. No matter how much they think they did. Don't waste your time watching it. There are better places to find learn about this case without being subjected to conspiracy theory trash.
